Beautiful Sunday: summer flowers in my garden.

This month we have surprising white blossoms of Moke flowers which spread sweet fragrance around the house. These tiny white flowers in clusters looked very dainty and wonderful against the green leaves. They looked like snow drops hanging around these Moke trees.

Moke tree is one of my favourite trees as they are so easy to looked after. We just have to water Moke tree twice a week. Moke (Wrightia religiosa Benth) is very popular in Thailand as people believe that Moke trees would protect them from negative energies. Moke trees would bring peaceful and calming vibes which would be conducive to meditating. These trees were bought as very young saplings at very cheap prices. Nowadays, prices have gone double as they are very suitable to be planted along the wall or fences.

All the orchids had gone to sleep after the blooming season in winter months. This year we had very few orchid flowers. I ought to spray some organic fertiliser on these thin looking orchids. On the other hand, those small orchids I bought four months ago have began to grow up nicely, except for two wild orchids. I found out that the ones which were attached to Moke trees have been doing very well. Perhaps, some orchids just don’t like to be confined in pots. I have forgotten the names of these orchids. We would have to wait for their flowers to be able to identify them later.

I was quite excited to see tiny shoots growing up; I thought I made a mistake of buying very cheap orchids online. These orchids have changed me a lot over the years; I have become more patient and have more respect for nature and more accepting of uncertainty. In a few months’ time, some bulb orchids would finally grow up to show us the colours of their flowers. I bought them cheap so they came in a mixed bag without specifying their colours.

The two pots of Desert Roses always reminded me of the elderly lady who gifted me her pot plants yrars ago. She didn’t have money, but she wanted to give me something to show her gratitude. During those months, I kept buying her food every week as I discovered that she had to survive on a loaf of bread for one week.

Luckily, I happened to have a part time job which earned me some extra income to be able to support her in difficult times. She also gave me four roses which were all eaten up by insects. She had moved away and didn’t give me any contact details; so I couldn’t locate her any more.

These red flowers really cheered me up and made me sad at the same time. I wish I had the chance to say goodbye to her properly. I didn’t think she could survive the mandatory vaxx shots as she already had been suffering from I’ll health. Her life story was incredible similar to the last emperor of China. She was like a princess in Laos long time ago.

Then the communist take-over destroyed her family and their lives. She was thrown into jail as her family was one of the top bourgeoisie or ruling class in Laos. From immense wealth to poverty and in captivity. She was released from jail via a special negotiation between top military officers on both sides. She lost twenty kilos in jail; she was in jail almost twenty years. I felt very sorry for her as she was such a kind and gentle person. I hoped she had reincarnated into a much better life and circumstances.

Meanwhile I have to carry on my responsibilities for my cats, garden, and my own life so that I wouldn’t be a burden on anyone. My dream was to be able to help other sentient beings around me according to my abilities. Life is getting tougher and more uncertain with looming unforeseen threats.

It’s hard work to warn closed friends who have the wealth to prepare themselves for the coming chaos. They couldn’t believe that kinetic conflicts are highly likely in the near future. It’s such a hassle to have to switch the brain from enjoying life to preparing for difficult times.

But I had to give them warnings as a good friend. So, my wish to establish a community of friends to support each other in case there’s a limited nuclear war couldn’t come to fruition. There’s so many loose ends and unfinished tasks which I tried to follow up every week. New issues seemed to crop up along the way to test my stability and perseverance. I prayed and hoped that the negative impact on our country wouldn’t be too severe and that people wouldn’t have to starve or fight for food. Trying to be positive and keeping good vibes around me all the time with the help of flowers and nature in my garden.

Glad you like my plants. I have very few plants comparing with my neighbours. I do hope you could have more time for gardening.

Yup! I like those red flowers too. The old bonsai plant would be very expensive.
