Happy Caturday: Joan came to see us twice in a week.

I could never get used to having only one orange cat when I used to have six cats and then two orange cats. Now that Joan has migrated to me neighbours’ house, I felt rather lonely with only one cat around. Kwan also felt very lonely as she would be meowing helplessly whenever I was absent. She’s acting like a small kitten looking for her mother. On the contrary, Joan was very quiet and independently wild like a small tiger. Joan would follow his instinct and roam around looking for a good hunt.

I have been trying to communicate with Joan telepathically. I asked him to come to see us for a few days. Nothing happened for two days, then on the third day Joan would walked into the front yard or enter my living room with a greeting meowing. This had happened three times so I reckoned Joan could receive my message. But I wondered why it would take three days for him to respond to my calling. Did the message took time on floating to the destination? Did Joan had to make sure it was safe for him to travel back to see us? I thought telepathic messages would be instantaneous as they didn’t need to go through any post office.

Kwan seemed to enjoy sleeping in my sitting room as she could spread out and sleep deeply with safety. I was glad Kwan has shown complete trust in me and would let me give her medicine with a syringe without any protest. She knew she had to swallow the liquid for a few seconds. Joan would put up a struggle and would refuse to open his mouth. He would struggle a little as he knew I wouldn’t give up my intention. Luckily Joan was much stronger than Kwan so I had to give medication to her more often. Kwan was more susceptible to having a cold and eye infection.

I tried to make sure that two orange cats still got along harmoniously. I would put them close together and watched their reactions. Kwan would be very eager to get close to Joan and gave me some grooming. Joan really quite like the attention and pampering. But they would stay together for about an hour, then Joan would go to sleep on my bed. Kwan was always very happy to see her brother so she could have a playmate in the evening. Joan would stay with us for about two days before marching off into the fields and along the dirt road.

I prayed and wished that Joan would always be safe and healthy and that he would visit us at least once a week to keep Kwan company. I was glad that Joan was still very sweet and affectionate towards me. I hoped he would miss us and never forget our friendship.

Wishing you peace, good health and prosperity.

Stay strong and cheerful.

Thanks so much for liking my cats. They have put on weights but they could still run around the garden.
