Market Friday: on my way to the river,เดินไปแม่น้ำ

Lately I have been very busy and occupied with doing more research on adverse impact of COVID jabs and informing close friends and family members about alternative news so that they would make informed decisions on taking the jabs. It should be better to be in the safe side as vaxxed people could not become unvaxxed even after death. There’s so much complex political manouver among factions of political parties who have been anticipating a sudden call for a general election some time this year. Meanwhile most hard working people continue to struggle for daily survival without having a clue why their livelihood and Iife have become so hard and fraud with so much difficulties. Had they realised the real causes of the malaise in our society, there would surely be a revolution by the people for the people. But most people have become pawns in the game of ‘divide and rule’ by the ruling elites. Perhaps when the truth about the coronavirus and COVID vaxx are to be revealed in its entirety, the surviving people would have a shock of their life and beneficial changes could start to take root in society.

With so many serious thoughts in my mind, I needed to be by the river as my safety valve. So, I went to Bangrak area to check out on the evening market before heading towards the riverside. I was so glad to see the Bangrak bazaar looking more crowded and lively than the last few months. There seemed to be new vendors and people were spending money on food and clothing, though half of the regular shoppers still stay away from public places for fear of the pandemic.

The strong sunshine and intense heat made me quite certain that open space had much less risk than in air conditioned shopping malls. I enjoyed walking around those stalls and marveled at those cheap prices for clothing; a nice shirt could cost less than four dollars. I couldn’t find that cheap sweater which I didn’t buy during my last visit; it was just right for working in the garden in cold weather. Someone had bought my cheap and practical sweater during my absence. That taught me a lesson about being decisive the next time I go hunting for gardening clothing.

I saw a new stall selling typical Thai sweets and snacks. The whole family came out to give the vendor moral support. Perhaps it’s the first time the breadwinner had to try something new as a result of becoming unemployed. Many singers and some actresses and actors have also taken up selling street food in high end areas of Bangkok. I had a good look at those Thai sweets and promised myself to get some later on.

The ten minutes’ walk along the main road was a nice warmup for my lazy muscles. I walked past the old bridge built during the reign of King Rama III, about two hundreds years ago. The original wrought iron was still intact and the white slaps of marble have not been stolen. Only the right side of the bridge remains, the opposite side had been turned into part of the extended road. The canal under the old bridge became quite black as it is no longer used by people. A street food vendor has parked her wheeling stall on the old bridge.

This placement seemed to attract many customers. Perhaps the vendor invoked the guardian spirit of the old bridge to help with the business. There’s a dry jasmine garland on the iron work, someone must have made some offerings on a regular basis. Thai people believed that old monuments or structures built by previous old Kings would have some special guardian spirits assigned to them. In the old days, elaborate ceremonies would take place to commemorate a bridge or building where praying ritual asking for divine blessing and protection would always be an important part of the occasion.

I decided to touch the white marble slap to get some connection to some remnants of past history. I was hoping the crystal inside the marble would retain some past memories. Some old stones and rocks did tell me some stories from the past. But I didn’t have the privacy I needed for my meditation; some
people started to watch my moves. I had to leave as I didn’t want to attract undue attention; lest some people might have thought I was a medium. I walked past a small Chinese shrine, there was no strong invitation vibes to stop me. From time to time, strange vibes from old statues would attract my attention and I just had to examine and talk to some of these old statues. I guessed they just wanted to be appreciated and complimented instead of being ignored by people in modern centuries.

Sometimes people just didn’t show enough respect and appreciation to old statues so the guardians just left for the other dimension. There were no longer that karmic tie or relationship for their existence there any longer. So, they were free to return to their previous abodes. I thought I really needed to be near the river as my imaginative thoughts were getting far ahead of me.

The old temple was very quiet as it was still officially close to the public. But it was alright for local people to drop by for a walk around the pier and riverside. The cloudy sky didn’t allow me to see a nice sunset. The atmosphere was a bit sad and gloomy because of the recurring lockdown this month. There were no visitors at all inside the temple. The pigeons and fish were forced to fend for themselves as there was no visitors who would buy food for them.

Life on the river continued to flow along with the rhythm of changes. Many generations have gone but the old river still remains here to collect all the stories of mankind on this land. I let go of all my concerns for mankind and just be alone by myself. The contemplation by the river was very light and healing as the river always know how to heal all mind. Water is bountiful and nourishing; her generous vibes were refreshing and I was very grateful to be there near the old river. I felt we had known each other for a long time, perhaps a few hundreds years since the beginning of Bangkok.

On my way back to the bus stop, a cat called out to me. He was sitting on the roof of a car, but he was very loud in his greetings. I had to stop by for a conversation with this demanding cat. He was complaining about being too lonely since there were no visitors bringing him special snacks for weeks. But I told him he looked so well fed; those monks must be feeding him quite regularly. I told him that he was lucky to be living in such a nice temple while other cats were sleeping by the roadside. We said our goodbye for the day and he wished me well. This was one of the most talkative cat in this area.

เรามัวแต่ตามข่าวสารเรื่องโควิดในต่างประเทศ โดยเฉพาะข้อมูลที่น่าสนใจ จากผู้เชี่ยวชาญ แพทย์และ นักวิทยาศาสตร์ที่มีชื่อเสียง ที่เขาออกมากแสดงข้อเท็จจริงที่ถูกปิดบัง โดยทุนข้ามชาติและสื่อต่างๆที่อยู่ใต้อำนาจเงิน เราเหนื่อใจที่คนในระดับสูงกำลังร่วมมือกับพวกทุนข้ามชาติ ในการทำลายล้างประเทศชาติ และฆ่าคนอย่างเลือดเย็น คงอีกไม่นานความจริงจะต้องปรากฎออกมา คนที่ถูกหลอกให้ตายหรือพิการ คงจะมีคนที่รักเขาอาจจะอยากทำการล้างแค้นให้ เหมือนที่เคยเกิดขึ้นแล้วในต่างประเทศ. คนอัฟริกันพากันไล่ตีหมอและกลุ่มคนของหน่วยงานสหประชาชาติ ที่มากฉีดเชื้ออีโบลาให้คนในอาฟริกา เป็นการทดลองกับคนจริงๆ ทำให้คนท้องถิ่นตายด้วยอีโบลามากมาย คนท้องถิ่นเริ่มเอะใจ ที่ทกุคนที่ได้รับวัคซีน พากันตายด้วยเม็ดเลือดแดงแตกทั้งตัว เลือดออกตามจมูก หูและปาก

ชาวบ้านเริ่มสงสัยว่าโดนหลอกเป็นหนูลองยา จึงพากันไล่พวกหมอและพนักงานของสหประชาชาติออกจากหมู่บ้าน คนจึงหยุดตายด้วยโรคประหลาดนี้ บางคนแค้นจนพากันไปเผาและทำลายตึกของหน่วยกาชาดที่พวกฝรั่งมาตั้งหน่วยฉีดยา ตอนนี้นายเฟาชี่ที่มีหุ้นมากมายในบริษัทที่ผลิตยาฉีดทดลอง ต้องมีคนคุ้มกันสามสี่คนเวลาเดินทางไปในที่สาธารณะ คนอเมริกันเริ่มรู้ความจริงแล้วว่าใครเป็นเครื่องมือของกลุ่มทุน ที่บังคับและชี้นำให้มีนโยบายที่ทำลายเศรษฐกิจและชีวิตคนในประเทศ เราเริ่มมองเห็นว่าในอนาคตเมื่อคนไทยรู้ความจริง ความโกรธแค้นอาจจะลามปามไปถึงขั้นจลาจลได้ทีเดียว เพราะคนจะสูญเสียคนที่เขารักไปหลายคน เพราะถูกหลอก และมอมเมาด้วยความกลัว.

เรารู้มาก ก็คิดมาก และทำให้เห็นเค้าลางของเหตุการณ์ในอนาคต เพราะมันได้เคยเกิดขึ้นแล้วในต่างประเทศ และตอนนี้คนในยุโรปกำลังโกรธแค้นมาก มีการปะท้วงและไล่ล่าสื่อมวลชน เช่น นักประกาศข่าวตามถนนในกรุงลอนดอน เขาโดนคนไล่ด่าว่า ไอ้คนทรยศ. ฝรั่งที่เป็นนักวิเคราะห์ที่มีชื่อเสียงมากก็ ออกมาเตือนก่อนหน้านี้แล้วว่า เหตุการณ์เช่นนี้จะเกิดขึ้นบ่อยมาก จนคนที่เคยเกี่ยวข้อง กับการโปรโมทยาฉีดมรณะนี้ จะไม่สามารถออกไปซื้อของตามห้างร้านได้อีกต่อไป เราคิดว่าพวกนักเลง ผู้มีอิทธิพลและอำนาจ อาจจะจ้างคนไปยิงแก้แค้นให้กับลูกหลาน หรือคนรักที่ต้องตายไป เพราะไว้ใจและหลงเชื่อในคำโฆษณาชวนเชื่อ และความกลัวตายจากไวรัส. เราคิดมากก็เลยต้องออกไปเดินเล่นใกล้แม่น้ำ เป็นการผ่อนคลายและปล่อยวางว่า สัตว์โลกย่อมเป็นไปตามกรรม

เราก็เดินจากตลาดนัดตอนเย็นที่แถวห้างโรบินสัน เราดีใจที่ร้านเปิดกันคึกคัก และเริ่มมีลูกค้ากลับมาเดินเล่นในตอนเย็น แต่คนซื้อของหายไปครึ่งหนึ่ง ยังดีที่มีร้านขายขนมร้านใหม่มาเปิดขาย ส่วนร้านเก่าแก่ที่อยู่มานาน ก็กลับมาเกือบครบแล้วทำให้บรรยากาศเริ่มคึกคัก และมีพลังดีๆมากขึ้น ราคาของที่ขายมีการปรับราคาลงมาบ้าง เสียดายที่เราอดซื้อเสื้อแขนยาวสำหรับใส่ทำสวนครั้งก่อน พอเรากลับมาอีกครั้ง มีคนอื่นชิงซื้อไปก่อนแล้ว นี่เป็นบทเรียนสำหรับเรา ว่าห้ามลังเลถ้าเราชอบของ และมันเป็นสิ่งที่ใช้ประโยชน์ได้มาก

เราเดินผ่านสะพานเก่าแก่ที่สร้างในสมัยรัชกาลที่สาม เราดีใจที่ยังเห็นเหล็กดัดที่นำเข้าจากยุโรป และเสาสะพานที่ทำด้วยหินอ่อนสีขาวก็ยังอยู่ แต่สะพานอีกด้านหนึ่งโดนทำลายไปนานแล้ว เพราะ มีการขยายถนนและถมคลองเป็นถนนที่กว้างขึ้น เราไปแตะแผ่นหินอ่อนดูว่าเย็นไหม สะพานนี้มีอายุเกือบสองร้อยปีแล้ว เราเดินดูผู้คนค้าขาย และใช้ชีวิตตามปกติ เราคิดว่าเมืองไทยยังโชคดีกว่าที่อื่น แต่โชคร้ายที่มีนักการเมือง และข้าราชการที่ฉ้อฉลและฉ้อโกงสุดไปเลย เราเดินเข้าไปในวัดยานนาวา เพื่อไปที่ท่าน้ำ แต่ท้องฟ้าปิด มีเมฆมากจึงไม่เห็นพระอาทิตย์ตกดินสวยๆในวันนั้น

เราเดินกลับไปทางเดิม แต่ไปเจอแมวพูดมากตัวหนึ่ง มันนอนอยู่บนหลังคารถยนต์ แล้วลุกมาตะโกนเรียกเราให้เข้าไปคุยกับมันด้วย เราก็คุยทักทายกับแมว มันก็ระบายความทุกข์ให้ฟัง ว่าคนหายไปไหนกัน แมวเหงามาก และไม่มีคนเอาของอร่อยๆมาให้กินนานแล้ว เราก็บอกว่า แมวดูไม่ผอมเลย ท่าทางพระสงฆ์จะเลี้ยงข้าวทุกวัน เราก็ลาแมวกลับบ้าน แมวก็ยังคุยไม่หยุด เราหวังว่าแมวตัวนี้คงมีเพื่อนดีๆมาคุยเล่นด้วยกันบ้าง

การได้อยู่เงียบๆริมแม่น้ำดีกับสมองเรามาก. ทำให้ได้พักผ่อน และลดความเร็วลงมาบ้าง และทำให้ได้ทบทวนหลักคำสอนของพุทธศาสนา ทำให้ดวงตาเห็นธรรม และเข้าใจชีวิตมากขึ้น เราก็เริ่มปล่อยวางมากขึ้น มันค่อนข้างเจ็บปวดที่รู้ว่าเพื่อน และญาติหลายคนจะมีอายุสั้นไม่เกินห้าปี เพราะไปฉีดยามรณะมาด้วยความกลัว และความไว้ใจผู้ใหญ่ในบ้านเมือง บางคนอาจจะโชคดีที่ตายไปโดยไม่ต้องทรมานกับโรคมะเร็ง และโรคทางสมอง เราคงไม่มีหน้าที่ไปช่วยได้เลย คนในครอบครัวที่เหลือต้องรับกรรมกันไป เราต้องปล่อยวางให้ได้ และดูแลคนรอบข้างเราให้ปลอดภัยไว้ก่อน เราก็หวังว่า ปาฏิหาริย์จะบังเกิด เพื่อหยุดยั้งแผนการทำร้ายร่างกายคนด้วย ‘ความหวังดี’ แต่เคลือบด้วยเล่ห์และความสูญเสีย เราหวังว่า คนที่จะตื่นจากภวังค์แห่งการหลอกลวงในอนาคต คงสามารถมีสติยั้งคิด และใช้ปัญญาในการแก้ไขปัญหาให้ได้เทอญ
