The Night of Hidden Charms/Contest LOH #310

Hello, my dear friends at Ladies of Hive! I love these kinds of activities, and the questions posed by @kerrislravenhill inspired me so much that I didn't hesitate to share my entry.
Those who know me know that I am an otaku at heart in almost every aspect of my life: I’m fascinated by cosplay and everything related to Asian culture, especially J-pop and K-pop. That’s why these questions were a perfect fit for me. Let’s get to the first one!
1️⃣ If the Ladies of Hive community were to organize a lavish masquerade ball, which historical figure, accomplished author/artist, or fictional character would you dress up as for this imaginary event, and why?

To start things off, it would be an incredible experience to share a celebration filled with color, joy, and friendship with this wonderful community. For an occasion like this, I would choose a fictional character without hesitation: Kagome (or Aome, as we know her in Latin America), the protagonist of the Inuyasha manga and anime.
Why her? Simply because I strongly identify with her personality and her growth throughout the story. It would be an honor to bring her style to our imaginary gala.
And the second question is:
2️⃣ Put aside the shower gel, turn off the tap, swap your brush for a microphone, and imagine yourself as a famous singer. What genre of music would you sing? Choose one, two, or even three Hive members to join your imaginary band and explain why.

I absolutely love this idea! I would definitely be the lead vocalist of a K-pop band called "The K-pop Warriors." To join me on the Hive stage, I would choose my little sister @machiqui63 and my great Hive friend @yasmarit.
I chose them because they are exemplary mothers—affectionate, strong, and true warriors—and, above all, they share my love for anime and Asian music. We would make the perfect trio.
Inspired by the story of a group that overcame rejection in the industry and fought with such persistence that they made history in Asia and even won an Oscar, we would be "The K-pop Warriors." Their legacy of resilience deeply moved me, and I believe it serves as an inspiring example for future generations. I know that together, we would shine on stage! 🎶

¡Hola, mis queridas amigas de Ladies of Hive! Me encantan este tipo de dinámicas, y las preguntas formuladas por @kerrislravenhill me motivaron tanto que no dudé en traer mi participación.
Quienes me conocen saben que soy una otaku de corazón en casi todas mis facetas: me fascina hacer cosplay y todo lo relacionado con la cultura asiática, especialmente el J-pop y el K-pop. Por eso, sus preguntas me cayeron como anillo al dedo. ¡Vamos con la primera!
1️⃣ Si alguna vez la comunidad de Ladies of Hive organiza una lujosa reunión de mascarada, ¿de qué figura histórica, autor/artista consumado o personaje ficticio te vestirás para este evento imaginario y por qué?

Para empezar, sería una experiencia increíble compartir con esta hermosa comunidad una fiesta llena de color, alegría y amistad. Para una ocasión así, elegiría sin dudarlo a un personaje ficticio: Kagome (o Aome, como la conocemos en Latinoamérica), la protagonista del manga y anime Inuyasha.
¿Por qué ella? Simplemente porque me identifico muchísimo con su personalidad y su evolución en la historia. Sería un honor llevar su estilo a nuestra gala imaginaria.
Y la segunda pregunta es:
2️⃣ Deja a un lado el gel de ducha, cierra el grifo, cambia el cepillo por un micrófono, e imagínate siendo un cantante famoso. ¿Qué estilo de música cantarías? Elige a uno, dos o incluso tres miembros de Hive para que formen parte de tu grupo musical imaginario y explica por qué.

¡Esta me fascina! Definitivamente, sería la voz principal de una banda de k-pop, Las guerreras del k-pop. Para acompañarme en los escenarios de Hive, elegiría a mi hermanita @machiqui63 y a mi gran Hive-amiga @yasmarit.
Las elegí a ellas porque son madres ejemplares: cariñosas, fuertes, auténticas guerreras, y, sobre todo, comparten conmigo el amor por el anime y la música asiática. Formaríamos el trío perfecto.
Inspiradas en la historia de superación de un grupo que, a pesar de ser rechazado en la industria, luchó con tanta constancia que llegó a hacer historia en Asia y ganar un Óscar, nosotras seríamos "Las Guerreras del K-pop". Su legado de resiliencia me conmovió profundamente, y considero que es un ejemplo a seguir para las futuras generaciones. ¡Sé que juntas brillaríamos en el escenario! 🎶
