Warning!!! HIVE Discord scams going around!

If you have just opened your Discord and you have received a warning from the 'HIVE announcement' person a personal message about updating your wallet, watch out!

This is a scam and it will steal your tokens and keys. Hive doesn't have an offical spokesperson on discord and will not connect to you in this way

I was one of the people who fell for a scam a couple of months back and it hurts when you do. Hard earned crypto is gone all of a sudden by someone who maliciously tries to take you money and succeeds in it.

The sucky thing especially is when you gave the keys yourself in these kinds of scams. Login looks the same as usual, and especially when you are new in the space you dont always think about that something is different compared to normal. A couple of clicks and it is all gone.

So most likely you have seen this post already today and you didn't pay too much attention to it. It is all about awareness and spreading the word. Help people before they fall for it. For that you can not be warned enough.

And never..like never..fill in your keys anywhere. There are reasons for hivesigners and keychains. They are like your passwordmanager so you dont have to fill in your keys.

A new wave of crypto enthusiasts is in and ready to take in anything without watching closely.

We must prevent them for letting that happen.
