I just saw A Woman Without Filters and I have to talk about it, and what better way to do it if not by sharing with you my impressions of this film.
Acabo de ver una mujer sin filtros y tengo que hablar de ella, y que mejor manera de hacerlo si no es compartiendo con ustedes mis impresiones de esta película.
A woman without a filter is a Mexican comedy film that simply got me, especially because I identified with the main character. Paz, a woman who lived up to her name, had a dream life, a good job, a husband, a good sister, everything seemed to be fine, but in reality her life was a real chaos. And who was to blame for this chaos?
Una mujer sin filtro es una película de comedia mexicana, que sencillamente me atrapo, sobre todo porque me identifique con el personaje principal. Paz, una mujer que hacía honor a su nombre, tenía una vida de ensueño, un buen trabajo, un esposo, una buena hermana, todo aparentaba estar bien, pero en realidad su vida era un verdadero caos. ¿Y quién era el culpable de este caos?
His character! Yes, her calm and permissive character made her life swim in the sea of unhappiness. She had a mantra, a phrase that she repeated every time she felt that she would explode in the face of the injustices that were presented day by day in her life, she took a deep breath and continued, this led her to suffer from anxiety, insomnia and severe chest pains. Until one day, a day when nothing could be worse for her, her life changed completely, she released all those feelings that she had retained for a long time and began to put order in her life, in a very funny way, by the way, but she went from one extreme to another and although some deserved all her words, she hurt one of the people she loved the most, then she understood that she had to find a balance in her life, starting again, but this time fuller, happier.
¡Su carácter! Si su carácter tranquilo y permisivo, hizo que su vida nadara en el mar de la infelicidad. Tenía un mantra, una frase que repetía cada vez que sentía, que explotaría ante las injusticias que se presentaban día a día en su vida, respiraba profundo y continuaba, esto la llevo a sufrir de ansiedad, insomnio y dolores fuertes en el pecho. Hasta que un día, un día en que nada podía ser peor para ella, su vida cambio totalmente, liberó todos esos sentimientos que había retenido por mucho tiempo y comenzó a poner orden en su vida, de una forma muy graciosa, por cierto, pero paso de un extremo a otro y aunque algunos se merecían todas sus palabras, hirió a una de las personas que más amaba, entonces comprendió que debía encontrar un equilibrio en su vida, comenzando de nuevo, pero esta vez más plena, más feliz.

Undoubtedly, the message of this film is clear, WE MUST NOT REPRESS OUR FEELINGS. Repressing our feelings is like putting ourselves in a cage, it is like cutting off our freedom and allowing other people to take advantage of this, filling us with anxiety, fears and frustrations.
Indudablemente, el mensaje de esta película está claro, NO DEBEMOS REPRIMIR NUESTROS SENTIMIENTOS. Reprimir nuestros sentimientos, es como meternos en una jaula a nosotros mismos, es cortarnos la libertad y permitir que las demás personas se aprovechen de esto, llenándonos de ansiedad, miedos y frustraciones.
Balance is always the key, when we understand that we must be honest mainly with ourselves, that we must express what we feel including our discomfort, we learn to set limits, to say NO when it is necessary and we begin to give value to our voice and our opinion. Paz had to give up everything and start all over again, because she understood that nothing she had, neither her partner nor her job made her feel fulfilled, on the contrary, they all abused her and made her a completely unhappy person, she understood that we cannot go to the extreme either and that we must control the way we react.
El equilibrio siempre es la clave, cuando comprendemos que debemos ser sinceros principalmente con nosotros mismos, que debemos expresar lo que sentimos incluyendo nuestras molestias, aprendemos a poner límites, a decir NO cuando es necesario y comenzamos a darle valor a nuestra voz y nuestra opinión. Paz tuvo que renunciar a todo y comenzar de nuevo, pues comprendió que nada de lo que tenía, ni su pareja, ni su trabajo la hacían sentir realizada, al contrario, todos abusaban de ella y la hacían una persona completamente infeliz, comprendió que tampoco podemos ir al extremo tampoco y que debemos controlar la forma en que reaccionamos.

What I liked about the film, is that we can clearly see the evolution of Paz, as Fernanda de Castillo, who starred in this plot, managed to convey in a natural way and with a lot of charisma, each stage of her character, who went from being a person, shy, quiet, completely ignored to be a woman with a lot of courage, without fear of telling her truths in the face of those who deserved it, with the courage to put an end to everything that did not work in her life, without caring or measuring the consequences and every time she let go of all that she had repressed in her chest, she felt renewed, she felt that she was rescuing herself and simply could not stop. Through the screen, you can perceive all these feelings, because the protagonist, from my point of view, did an excellent job.
Lo que me gustó de la película, es que podemos ver claramente la evolución de Paz, como Fernanda de Castillo, quien protagonizo esta trama, logró transmitir de una forma natural y con mucho carisma, cada etapa de su personaje, quien pasó de ser una persona, tímida, tranquila, completamente ignorada a ser una mujer con mucho coraje, sin miedo a decirle sus verdades en la cara a quienes lo merecía, con la valentía de darle fin a todo lo que no funcionaba en su vida, sin importar ni medir consecuencias y cada vez que dejaba liberar todo eso que llevaba reprimido en su pecho, se sentía renovada, sentía que se rescataba así mismo y simplemente no podía parar. A través de la pantalla, se puede percibir todos estos sentimientos, porque la protagonista, desde mi punto de vista, hizo un excelente trabajo.
The rest of the characters also did a great job, but none of them have as much prominence as peace and this is another thing that caught my attention, much of the plot was focused solely on its protagonist, without going too much off the deep end.
El resto de los personajes también hicieron un trabajo estupendo, pero ninguno tiene tanto protagonismo como paz y esto es otra de las cosas que me llamó la atención, gran parte de la trama se centró únicamente en su protagonista, sin irse mucho por las ramas.

Mexican cinema, I have always liked, mainly for its humorous and real part of telling their stories, although many times, they tend to be somewhat predictable and this is one of them, however, I do not consider this film to be bad, on the contrary, it is one of the best of this genre that I have seen so far, I know I have a giant list of movies to see, but I liked this one a lot, for its story, for the way they managed to convey their message, the scenarios and how they also involved the boom of social networks and the new era of influencer.
El cine mexicano, siempre me ha gustado, principalmente por su parte humorística y real de contar sus historias, aunque muchas veces, suelen ser un tanto predecibles y esta es una de ellas, sin embargo, no considero que esta película sea mala, al contrario, es una de las mejores de este género que he visto hasta ahora, sé que tengo una lista gigante de películas por ver, pero esta me gusto bastante, por su historia, por la forma en que lograron transmitir su mensaje, los escenarios y como también involucraron el boom de las redes sociales y la nueva era de influencer.
I recommend you to watch this movie, I'm sure you'll have fun for a while and maybe you'll learn something from it. It was a pleasure to share my opinion about it with you, I hope you will watch it and let me know what you thought of it.

Yo la vi y me encantó, creo que muchos de nosotros nos identificamos con el personaje de Paz. A veces no sabemos decir no o callamos por pena y consideración cuando hay personas que no tienen pelos en la lengua para decirnos las cosas y herirnos. Lo malo fue que Paz fue de un extremo a otro y como bien explicas nada mejor que el equilibrio, los extremos siempre son malos. Muy divertida la película, le vería una y otra vez.
Sii Paz se fue de un extremo a otro y fue muy divertido ver eso. Exactamente lograr el equilibrio es lo mejor, pero es difícil alcanzarlo también, pero poco a poco uno va aprendiendo a manejar mejor sus emociones. Muchas gracias por leerme. Saludos
Esta película me gusta mucho, como dices me senti identificada con ella, lo bueno es que Paz aprendió que hay que tener equilibrio y que la verdad no es para todo el mundo. Debemos tener consideración con algunas personas.
