Cómo ya pudieron ver en la portada esa soy soy de cosplay, entonces ¿De que estoy disfrazada? ¿Qué hubo de interesante en este evento? Aquí abajo se los cuento todo, todito 😎😁

Hello hello my loves 🤩 welcome to one more post with lots and lots of Otaku material. How can it be otherwise today it's time to talk about the most important Otaku/Geek event in the country, oh yeah baby I'm talking about the Comic Con 😎.

As you could already see on the cover that I'm a cosplayer, so what am I dressed up as? What was so interesting in this event? Here below I tell you everything, all of it 😎😁.

Bueno, la preparación para este evento viene desde hace MESES (¿o incluso años?😅) Pues verán, cuando yo y mis amigas estábamos en el liceo y no teníamos idea de lo que nos esperaba en la vida adulta 🙃 queríamos desde siempre hacer un cosplay grupal.

Pero, hacer cosplays así es muy costoso y difícil. Así que nos fuimos por la tangente y decidimos hacer una versión humana de las evoluciones de Evee de Pokémon. ¿Alguien sabe cómo es un pokémon en forma humana? No. Pues libertad creativa ✅. Sin embargo, las cosas no se dieron en ese momento porque ✨pubertas sin trabajo✨ y luego vino la crisis.

Ese proyecto quedó olvidado, hasta que el año pasado la movida friki resurgió de sus cenizas y comenzaron a reactivarse los eventos y convenciones. Fue ahí cuando, les dije "oigan ¿se acuerdan de esta idea super loca?" Bueno mejor que mejor, porque una de mis amigas es modista 😎

Hace unos 2 meses le cancelamos las telas, la mano de obra y voala, cosplay de Pokémon ✅

Well, the preparation for this event has been coming for MONTHS (or even years?😅) Well you see, when me and my friends were in high school and we had no idea what awaited us in adult life 🙃 we always wanted to make a group cosplay.

But, making cosplays like that is very expensive and difficult. So,we went off on a tangent and decided to make a human version of Evee's evolutions from Pokémon. Does anyone know what a pokémon looks like in human form? No. So creative freedom ✅. However, things didn't happen at that time because ✨kids out of work✨ and then came the crisis.

That project was forgotten, until last year the geek movement rose from its ashes and began to revive events and conventions. That's when I told them "Hey, do you remember this super crazy idea? " Well better than better, because one of my friends is a dressmaker 😎

About 2 months ago we cancelled her the fabrics, the labor and voala, Pokémon cosplay✅

Y ustedes se preguntarán "¿Y tus amigas que no las veo?" Bueno los trajes están, pero la plata para las entradas no 🙃 (la traición…)

En fin, que mis amigas no pudieran en esta oportunidad no me iba a dejar con las ganas de ir a lucirme a un evento, así que entre mi esposo y yo improvisamos un cosplay para él de entrenador Pokémon y bórralo ✨vamos que para luego es tarde✨

Ahora bien, esa es la historia del cosplay. La historia de la preparación previa esa semana fue una locura…

And you may be wondering "What about your friends that I don't see them? " Well, the costumes are there, but the money for the tickets is not 🙃 (the betrayal...).

Anyway, that my friends couldn't make it this time I wasn't going to leave me with the desire to show off at an event, so my husband and I improvised a cosplay for him as a Pokémon trainer and ready ✨come on, the life short✨.

Now that's the story of the cosplay. The story of the preparation leading up to that week was crazy....

Lo primero fue ir a comparar los accesorios… todo caro y muy canson caminar el centro de Caracas, a pesar de que iba echando chisme con mi amiga 🥵

Al día siguiente, hacerme las manos y los pies porque, osea hello, no iba a ir con esos ñames dando vergüenza ajena. La cosa es que mi manicurista de confianza de aquí del barrio estaba cerrada y para las otras dos que trabajan cerca tenía que tener cita 👀

Vuelvo otra vez el viernes, y está cerrada. Yo ya estaba entrando en crisis, cuando veo que está pasando por la sala de su casa (ella atiende en el porche de su casa). La saludo y le pongo mis ojos de desesperación para ver si me puede atender.

Me dijo que se estaba muriendo de gripe, pero que sí podía atenderme. Me puse mi tapabocas y le dije a Diosito "señor si me voy a enfermar que sea después de mañana".

Finalmente tenía mis uñas listas… y llegando a casa que se me dañan 2 🙃 Respiré, me calme y busqué entre mis cosas un tono parecido para arreglarlo.

The first thing was to go to compare the accessories... everything expensive and very tiring walking downtown Caracas, even though I was gossiping with my friend 🥵.

The next day, do manicure and pedicure because, ¿hello?, I was not going to go with those feets giving embarrassment. The thing is, my trusted manicurist here in the neighborhood was closed and for the other two who work nearby I had to have an appointment 👀.

I go back again on Friday, and she's closed. I was already going into crisis, when I see she is walking by her living room (she attends on her front porch). I greet her and give her my eyes of despair to see if she can attend to me.

She told me she was dying of the flu, but she could take care of me. I put on my mask and said to God "Sir, if I am going to get sick, let it be after tomorrow ".

Finally I had my nails ready... and arriving home I damaged 2 of them 🙃 I took a breath, calmed down and searched among my things for a similar shade to fix it.

Ahora venía la otra parte… Tratar de pintarme el pelo con papel maché. Seguí los pasos, hice un desastre con las ollas en la cocina y… Nada. Mi cabello me dijo "pues no mi ciela, no me voy a teñir porque tú nunca me has decolorado con agua oxigenada"

Finalmente, uno tiene que saber cuando retirarse, así que me puse con la próxima parte… Mascarillas faciales. Total que termine de prepararme como a las 11.

A la mañana siguiente, llegó mi tía para cuidar a Púa. El día anterior la bomba de mi tanque de agua murió, así que también llegó mi tío para ver qué se podía hacer para arreglarla.

Total que mi esposo, se dió la bomba del año para estar listo 🙄 entre buscar las herramientas, el almuerzo y terminar de armar el bolso se hicieron las 11am. Mi hermanastro nos estaba esperando en el evento desde las 9 🙃

Now came the other part... Trying to paint my hair with paper mache. I followed the steps, made a mess with the pots in the kitchen and... Nothing. My hair told me "Well no my pretty, I'm not going to dye because you have never bleached it with hydrogen peroxide".

Finally, you have to know when to back off, so I got on to the next part... Face masks. So I finished getting ready around 11 o'clock.

The next morning, my aunt arrived to take care of Púa. The day before my water tank pump died, so my uncle also arrived to see what could be done to fix it.

Anyway my husband, gave himself the pump of the year to be ready 🙄 between getting the tools, lunch and finishing putting the bag together it was 11am. My stepbrother was waiting for us at the event since 9 🙃.

Agarramos taxi, porque ya íbamos ✨estresaditos✨. Llegamos y ni idea de dónde era la cuestión 🤣 le dije a mi esposo como si estuviéramos en el mundo de Harry Potter "Es lo mismo de siempre, cuando veas a una persona rara, síguela"

Llegamos. Para entrar había que pasar como cuatro colas, subiendo escaleras mecánicas. Sin embargo, debo decir que el Urban couple del CCCT es hermoso, te da la sensación de entrar a un laberinto de los buenos. Y datazo, ahora tienen política PetFriendly y podemos dar paseíto con nuestros hijos peludos por el mall 🐶

We took a cab, because we were already ✨stressed✨ we arrived and no idea where the issue was 🤣 I told my husband as if we were in Harry Potter's world "It's the same as always, when you see a strange person, follow them ".

We arrived. To get in you had to go through about four queues, up escalators. However, I must say that the Urban couple of the CCCT is beautiful, it gives you the feeling of entering a good labyrinth. And datazo, now they have a PetFriendly policy and we can take a walk with our furry children around the mall 🐶.

Después de que nos escanearan y nos dieran los brazaletes, finalmente entramos. El ambiente se sentía a tope, cosplay por aquí, videojuegos por allá, stands super finos por allá. Todo muy lindo pero yo aún estaba vestida de civil 🙃

Nos encontramos con Alejandro, mi hermanastro, y nos pusimos a buscar los vestidores. Debo decir que en verdad se la comieron. Eran unos cubículos más grandes que cualquier vestidor de tienda, con espejo incluido 👏🏻👏🏻 excelente servicio 10/10.

Después de treinta minutos entre vestuario y maquillaje por fin estaba lista y debo decir que, omitiendo los kilitos de más, me veía ✨Fabulosa✨

After we were scanned and given our bracelets, we finally went inside. The atmosphere was buzzing, cosplay here, video games there, super fine booths there. All very nice but I was still in civilian clothes 🙃.

We met up with Alejandro, my stepbrother, and started looking for the dressing rooms. I must say they really ate it up. They were cubicles bigger than any store dressing room with mirror included 👏🏻👏🏻 excellent service 10/10.

After thirty minutes between dressing and makeup I was finally ready and I must say that, omitting the extra pounds, I looked ✨Fabulous✨.

Salí del baño, y de inmediato fueron fotos y fotos. Los cosplays tenían nivel y los stands eran una maravilla. La gente se reía, se elogiaba el trabajo puesto en su disfraz y en general había demasiadas cosas que ver.

I came out of the bathroom, and immediately it was photos and photos. The cosplays were on a high level and the booths were a marvel. People were laughing, people were praising the work put into their costume, and overall there was just too much to see.

Luego llegamos a los stands de los invitados.

En esta oportunidad trajeron invitados de nivel: La maestra de doblaje Rocío Prado, la voz de Ramma de "Ramma ½" y Tormenta de los "X-Men"

Then we got to the guest booths.

This time they brought guests of high level: The dubbing master Rocío Prado, the voice of Ramma from "Ramma ½" and Tormenta from "X-Men ".

And finally the one I was most excited to meet, Andrés Ramírez, Venezuelan self-published writer. Author of the book saga "16 prodigios ".

Lo que me gusto fue que, además de la presentación de cada invitado (que nos la perdimos por estar caminando 😅) todos los asistentes tenían la oportunidad de conocer a los invitados, tomar fotos sin pagar y charlar un poco con ellos. Espero que mantengan este sistema en los próximos eventos 😊

Después de esto continuamos nuestro recorrido por las tiendas y tomándonos muchas fotitos. Llegamos hasta la exhibición de Star Treck y obvio necesitábamos fotos en la Enterprise 😎

What I liked was that, besides the presentation of each guest (which we missed because we were walking 😅) all attendees had the opportunity to meet the guests, take pictures without paying and chat a little with them. I hope they keep this system in the next events 😊.

After that we continued our tour through the stores and taking lots of little pictures. We got as far as the Star Trek exhibition and obviously we needed pictures on the Enterprise 😎

Luego de eso fuimos a almorzar. En esta parte, como en todo evento hecho en Venezuela se le vieron las costuras….. 5$ por un ramen bien feito que no sabía a nada. Perros por 2$ (estos si se veían un poco más resueltos) y combos de KFC 👀 de entre 3$ a 10$. Yo me compré un pote de nuggets y un refresco por 5$, peeeero no traían ni salsa de tomate 🙄 Traté de comprar un dulce para medio compensar y me querían cobrar 3$ por un cocosete…

Después de un "y que almuerzo" nos fuimos a la parte de videojuegos. Pero antes, pasamos por una cámara giratoria 360 @360royals en IG, que estaban sacando videos gratis y obvio teníamos que subirnos

After that we went to lunch. In this part, as in every event made in Venezuela, the seams were visible ..... 5$ for an ugly ramen that tasted like nothing. Hot Dogs for 2$ (these did look a bit more resolved) and KFC combos 👀 from 3$ to 10$. I bought a pot of nuggets and a soda for 5$, but they didn't even have ketchup 🙄 I tried to buy a candy to compensate and they wanted to charge me 3$ for a coconut cookie....

After that "lunch" we went to the videogame part. But first, we passed by a 360 spinning camera @360royals on IG, they were putting out free videos and obviously we had to get on.

Los chicos del stand de Pokémon Venezuela se tomaron fotos conmigo y hasta bailamos el caramelldansen (cosas de frikis de la vieja escuela 🤭)

The guys at the Pokémon Venezuela booth took pictures with me and we even danced the caramelldansen (old school geek stuff 🤭).

La cola para el juego que quería jugar mi esposo estaba demasiado larga. Así que me fui a dar una vuelta por los stands, porque aún no había encontrado una taza que me gustará para que mi "bebito fiu fiu" cumpliera su promesa de que me iba a comprar una.

Finalmente encontré todo en una sola tienda de unas chicas de Yaracuy super simpáticas @ktra.zoy en IG. Me llevé taza, camisa y moñeras… lo normal de una doña friki de 28 años 🤣

The queue for the game my husband wanted to play was too long. So I went for a walk around the stands, because I still hadn't found a mug that I would like for my "fiu fiu baby" to keep his promise that he was going to buy me one.

I finally found everything in one store from some super nice girls from Yaracuy @ktra.zoy on IG. I took mug, shirt and bow ties... the usual from a 28 year old geeky lady 🤣

Ya eran las 4:30 de la tarde y tocaba irse. Nos despedimos de Alejandro, y fuimos a ponernos la ropa de civiles 🤭. De vuelta a la normalidad, pusimos marcha hacia las camioneticas que nos dejarían en la segunda parada para tomar la que nos dejaría prácticamente frente a nuestra casita 😊

Cuando llegamos… sorpresa que había un gentío 👀 más 10 personas entre familiares y desconocidos nos dijeron hola y chao y salieron prácticamente cuando abrimos las puertas.

Púa nos estaba viendo con cara de "padres irresponsables, me dejaron con ese poco de gente desconocida". La casa estaba literal, patas arriba, así que a esta negrita no le quedó de otra más que limpiar su casita antes de bañarse y dormir 🙃

Espero una vez más no haberlos aburrido con tanta cháchara, solo les diré que hay otra Cómic Con en Noviembre y para esa mis amigas ya no tienen excusa Muajajaja. Cuídense y nos vemos en otro post.

It was already 4:30 in the afternoon and it was time to leave. We said goodbye to Alejandro, and went to put on our civilian clothes 🤭. Back to normality, we set off towards the trucks that would leave us at the second stop to take the one that would leave us practically in front of our little house 😊.

When we arrived... surprise there was a crowd 👀 more than 10 people between family and strangers said hello and bye and left practically when we opened the doors.

Púa was looking at us with a "irresponsible parents, they left me with that bunch of strangers " face. The house was literally upside down, so this black girl had no choice but to clean her little house before bathing and sleeping 🙃.

I hope once again I didn't bore you with so much chitchat, I'll just tell you that there's another Comic Con in November and for that one my friends have no excuse Muajajaja. Take care and see you in another post.
