Today I bring you a Storytime about the last two Sundays of this month and the Nordic gatherings I have had the pleasure to assist 🐺🐺🐺

El día de hoy les traigo un Storytime sobre los dos últimos domingos de este mes y los encuentros nórdicos a los que he tenido el placer de asistir 🐺 🐺🐺

Well, let's start at the beginning. I was already enrolled in a Husky daddy club for months, there they are always active talking about tips and giving advice on the behavior of this beautiful breed.

However, although they are always very friendly there, they never agree to meet and get to know each other in person, which is a very cool activity because this way our little furry has the opportunity to go to a certain place just to meet friends and play.

As life happens, the other Husky club made a public invitation for a meeting in the WhatsApp group of the club where I was registered. Well, I'd better not, in that group Troya burned.

Bueno, comencemos por el principio. Yo ya estaba inscrita en un club de papas Husky desde hace meses, allí siempre están activos hablando de consejos y dando tips sobre el comportamiento de esta hermosa raza.

Sin embargo, aunque allí siempre son muy amables, nunca se ponen de acuerdo para encontrarse y conocerse en persona, lo cual es una actividad muy chévere porque así nuestro peludito tiene la oportunidad de ir a un lugar determinado solo a conocer amiguitos y jugar.

Por cosas de la vida, el otro club de perritos Husky hizo una invitación pública para un encuentro en el grupo de WhatsApp del club donde yo estaba inscrita. Pues bueno más vale que no, en ese grupo ardió Troya

I don't know why, we Venezuelans have a territoriality thing that we try to disguise as education and good manners that boils out of us in random moments 🙄.

The thing was that in that group they got annoyed and a lot of people left because of the bad vibe. I for one just wanted to meet people and for my baby to get to know her cousins more 🥺.

Finally, the Sunday of the reunion came. I didn't know if they were going to let me be in the activity, even though the dog park was public, but I still grabbed my cab and went with Púa. I can only say that it was a great decision 😁.

Yo no sé porque, los venezolanos tenemos una cosa de territorialidad que intentamos disfrazar de educación y buenas costumbres que ebulle de nosotros en momentos random 🙄

La cosa fue que en ese grupo se molestaron y mucha gente se salió por la mala vibra. Yo por mi parte solo quería conocer gente y que mi bebé conociera más a sus primos 🥺

Al final, llegó el domingo del encuentro. Yo no sabía si me iban a dejar estar en la actividad, aunque el parque de perros fuera público, pero igual agarre mi taxi y me fui con Púa. Solo puedo decir que fue una gran decisión 😁

The people from this other club were also super friendly and made us feel welcome. I was happy, seeing so many beautiful huskies 😍 but... Púa has a personality... strange.

Pua is like a spoiled princess. She's not jealous of me and lets me pet and treat even the iguanas on the street nice, but she doesn't let just any dog sniff her. And of course, she doesn't let anyone pet her either. On the contrary, what she does is howl and be mad.

La gente de este otro club también fue super amistosa y nos hicieron sentir bienvenidas. Yo estaba feliz, viendo a tantos huskys hermosos 😍 pero… Púa tiene una personalidad… extraña.

Púa es como una princesa mimada. No es celosa conmigo y me deja acariciar y tratar bonito hasta las iguanas de la calle, pero no deja que cualquier perro la huela. Y por supuesto, tampoco se deja acariciar por cualquier persona. Por el contrario lo que hace es aullar y formar brollo.

Basically in this encounter, more than playing, what she did was to sniff all the dogs, howl at them and look at them like "Iuuk mom, how horrible these kids, let's go".

But obviously I wasn't going to leave in the middle of the activity. In this encounter people were super friendly. We talked about the tremendous things our babies do and gave each other behavior tips. Exactly like a parent meeting at school, but muuuuuuuch better 😂😂😂😂.

Básicamente en este encuentro, más que jugar, lo que hizo fue oler a todos los perritos, aullarles y verlos como "Fuchi mamá, que horrible estos niños, vámonos"

Pero obvio que yo no me iba a ir en mitad de la actividad. En este encuentro las personas fueron super super amigables. Hablamos de las tremenduras que hacen nuestros bebés y nos dimos tips de comportamiento. Exactamente como una reunión de padres en la escuela, pero muuuuucho mejor 😂😂😂

As part of the activities there was an agility contest, which consists of completing a circuit with obstacles for dogs.

I must say that although Púa has never had this kind of training, he did quite well 😊.

The space where this meeting took place is called "Parque La Mansion" and it is a small, but very nice dog park. It has a large outdoor space and another one with the agility track, plus a small store where they sell all kinds of little things for the furry ones. They provide free water for the little ones.

Como parte de las actividades hubo un concurso de agility, el cual consiste en completar un circuito con obstáculos para perros.

Debo decir que aunque Púa jamás ha tenido este tipo de entrenamiento, lo hizo bastante bien 😊

El espacio donde se hizo este encuentro se llama "Parque La Mansión" y es un parque de perros pequeño, pero muy bonito. Cuenta con un espacio grande al aire libre y otro con la pista de agility, además de una pequeña tienda en donde venden todo tipo de cositas para los peluditos. Brindan agua gratis para los pequeñines.

This time, I needed to buy something to change and have enough to pay for the cab. So I couldn't resist and I bought a new breastplate and chicken treats for my obnoxious princess 🤭.

I must say that even though Púa didn't want to integrate much, she had a great time meeting so many doggies.

Esta vez, necesitaba comprar algo para cambiar y tener sencillo para pagar el taxi. Así que no me resistí y le compré una pechera nueva y premios de pollo a mi princesa odiosa 🤭

Debo decir que aunque Púa no quiso integrarse mucho, la paso bastante bien conociendo a tantos perritos.

The organizers asked for my number and already at night I was added to the WhatsApp group of this club.

During that week, I saw that the people in this group are always active. They write to each other to meet anywhere in the city and let their furry babies play together.

Which brings me to the second walk, which was this past Sunday. That week, one person wrote in asking who was up for a walk through El Calvario Park. As it happens, I live practically next door 🤭 obviously I signed up for that one.

I thought at least 7 doggies would go, in the end we were only 3 😅.

Las organizadoras pidieron mi número y ya en la noche fui agregada al grupo de WhatsApp de este club.

Durante esa semana, vi que las personas de este grupo, están siempre activas. Se escriben para encontrarse en cualquier punto de la ciudad y dejar que sus bebés peludos jueguen juntos.

Lo que me lleva al segundo paseo, el cual fue este pasado domingo. Esa semana, una persona escribió preguntando quién se animaba a una caminata por el parque El Calvario. Da la casualidad que yo vivo prácticamente al lado 🤭 obvio me anoté en esa.

Pensé que irían al menos 7 perritos, al final fuimos solo 3 😅

It didn't matter anyway. We had a great time, basically because one of the couples came accompanied by kids who didn't know the park and it was very entertaining to show it to them.

Besides, this time, not being overwhelmed with so many puppies, Púa could concentrate on getting to know them better. I think she enjoyed this time much more.

Her new friends were in a romantic mood, as they were a female and a male, but after walking for a while, the three of them were focused on enjoying the walk.

De todas formas no importó. La pasamos genial, básicamente porque una de las parejas vino acompañada de niños que no conocían el parque y fue muy entretenido mostrárselo.

Además, en esta oportunidad al no estar agobiada con tantos perritos, Púa pudo concentrarse en conocerlos mejor. Creo que está oportunidad disfrutó mucho más.

Sus nuevos amiguitos, estaban en una onda de romantiqueo, pues eran una hembra y un macho, pero luego de caminar un rato, los tres estaban concentrados en disfrutar el paseo

Both days, Púa came back exhausted but happy and so was I, because it is always very nice to share with people who understand the tricks and mischievous behaviors that this particular breed has (although Púa is a mestizo 🤭).

I hope you liked this doggy post. I say goodbye reminding you that a dog, a cat, a birdie and even a snake is a responsibility that must be taken on with love and respect. Peace ✌🏻

Ambos días, Púa regresó exhausta pero contenta y yo también pues siempre es muy agradable compartir con personas que entienden las mañas y los comportamientos traviesos que tiene esta raza en particular (aunque Púa es mestiza 🤭)
