If you asked me to explain to you simply, I would say these words to you.
Think of:
- Transparency & Trust: Information is accurate, public and safely stored in a digital ledger (database). This is achieved by cryptography, and it ensures the integrity of data.
- Ownership & Permissions: The user has absolute ownership of their data, on how it is handled and usually receives incentives for their engagement & participation. All users have the same permissions.
- No Intermediaries/central authorities: This gives power to the user, but also responsibility. There is no central authority to control, to censor, to protect.

The above may be difficult to grasp at first, especially for people who do not have any prior knowledge and experience with blockchains, decentralized systems, digital wallets etc.
I can assure you that in due time, you will need to know more and use web3 applications, so my advice to you is .. go ahead and take some time to learn about it now.

You may find opportunities that you had never thought of before.
Most of the sectors will fuse web 3 in their operations in the very near future
Web3 is interconnected with more evolving technologies, such as AI, blockchain, Metaverse and more

Web3, I must say, is a really ingenious idea, that will provide far more value and opportunities than the Internet as we know it now. As with all great ideas, it may take time before it becomes available to everyone but that will most certainly happen and I can't just wait for that to happen. Thanks for sharing this useful info. I have been working within the crypto industry for five years and know a lot about web 3 but still one should take knowledge from wherever one can get it. If so, I will definitely see them.
