Hive is now four years old - March 20th!

This is a very important day for all hive users, but especially for the ones who were here before the fork and experienced everything.

I am really excited because as I read... there is a lot to anticipate :)

Finally reached 13K HP!

I waited the past few days, I was not sure what I would do with some of my earned HBD. Today I decided.

I used 90 Hive to pay for my 2 months unpaid phone bill and the remaining hive, I used to ... POWER UP of course :)

I think it is a great time to support the platform I feel at home, even if the amount is not too much.

165 Hive are 'locked' to increase my Hive Power to 13K

I am also very happy to be able to pay using my earned hive, and this is why I am putting the proof here. I would like to show that it is possible to use hive currency to pay for anything you want.

In this case, I swapped HBD to Hive, which I sent via changelly to my Nexo Wallet as USTD, because I could use the card to pay my bill and receive cashback for the transaction.

What do you think about my celebrations?

I have more plans regarding Hive for 2024, I just did not have the time so far to realize them, due to unpredictable events that occurred to me.

But what is important is not to lose focus, even if life comes in the way.

I'd completely forgotten about March 20th being an important date around these parts... hard to believe it has already been four years.

Cool that you are making enough to pay some of your bills! For now, the cost of living here vs. Hive is far too out of balance to allow that (one month's mobile bill would be about 250 Hive, for example) but maybe there will be a future in which it becomes possible!

Hey thanks!
I usually do not use it to pay bills, I mostly power up or buy some cheap crypto when prices are cheap. This time, I was late for paying this bill (it is landline, which is 3 times cheaper than my mobile phone, haha) and I did not have money in my cards - so I thought I would celebrate this way! I think it is motivating for some people to actually see that you can also pay bills with hive and use it in your every day life!

Oh Hive is four years old? It has evolved so much for one so young. Happy belated birthday to Hive too and I really wish it would continue to be a platform to be proud of.

I remember when this platform came out there was a lot of joy because people were having problems on Steemit and we pray that it will be promoted so that the whole world can use it.
