Curation with 60K LP; Easy or Not?
With great power comes great responsibility.
I have never had big amounts of hive/leo delegated to me, so this 60K Leo Delegation by @onealfa read here why, feels great but does come with a cost.
I usually spend time curating posts from users I already know, read the updates of my friends etc.
This time I thought of trying to discover some new users that I have never really known, who may really need this extra incentive/gift to their accounts.
So what I did, was to go to the new posts in LeoFinance (while so far I visited the 'My Feed' section)

This post is about a project in Ghana to construct a borehole system so that everyone can have access to clear water.. I was deeply moved and this is so amazing to see how Hive empowers such initiatives and helps communities..
How do I plan to proceed?
I will be mostly curating on LEO, but I will also be checking other front-ends on a daily basis.
I used to upvote almost all comments to my posts, but for the time of the delegation I will not do it so often. It am using someone else's power, I ve got to be extra attentive!
Would you like to make a suggestion?
Maybe tag below a new user who should be motivated?

When I won the 5K LEO delegation last month, I was excited to do more manual curation, but had to be mindful of my RC levels. At one point I'd gotten so involved in handing out upvotes that it dropped to near 50%. So, I too had to trim the upvoting of comments in order to be able to reward even more good content creators here on Hive.
It was so much fun finding those lonely, but deserving little posts and putting my delegation to good use. I went out of my way searching for high-effort posts that were hours old, yet had no/very little support. The end result of the #lpud reward, was that it made me want to build up my account to that level all on my own! So have fun with that 60K! I know you'll put it to good use as well! :)

If I had a 60K delegation I would probably peruse the "Latest" section in search of some good under-the-radar posts... not exclusively but I would aim to release a fair amount to posts I thought warranted a boost!

I had won a 20,000 delegation on a previous LPUD so I just gave 100% votes on Leofinance. It was exhausting to keep up but a lot of fun!

My advice would be to just keep curating how you were before.
Keep voting the people you were voting, definitely keep voting comments.
Just make sure you're draining your VP down to 80% daily to maximise your rewards.
Just keep in mind that if you vote on non-LEO content then you won't earn LEO curation rewards.
Stick to curating on leofinance.io while you have the delegation.

This is soo true, I won 5K which is huge for me so I can imagine your dilemma. With my LP under 1000, I also see this as an opportunity to earn more LeoPower myself by curating as much as possible. I don't think I have ever spent as much time on Leo as I have in the past couple of days. I can't read everything, so I sometimes just browse over to see if it interest me or not, I also curate some things at a lower percentage. This will be an interesting 3 weeks for us, I'm sure!

It is fun, I won a 20k delegation from August lpud I think. I then went to find posts that were good but not being rewarded. So basically not the usual people that always get the rewards.
Just be you and have fun, but I would make sure you vote on stuff posted from Leo Finance front end.

I don't think there is a real need to changing you voting habits just because you have the delegation. If you have the time, then I guess it works but I suggest focusing more on LeoFinance for your VP so you don't lose out on any rewards.

Something I do with my Ecency boosts, is look through friends and latest posts and boost undervoted/rated posts where the author has made a good effort.

Well, I'll surely nominate myself if I was doing the most on Leofinance..but I hardly post on there.. I've been doing a lot of studying trying to understand more of crypto terms...but I'll surely put in the work...
That's a lot of responsibility and I'm sure with time you'll get the hang of it..just take your time, there's no rush..even if you're curating 10 good posts daily then that's good enough...with time you'll be able to widen your reach and bless more deserving authors...
