Hello my friends!

Today I want to introduce you to a new tool that I found out about just today!

Has it ever happened to you that you feel too tired to be typing all day long?

I have been typing for my work, for my hobbies and also for my hive posts. There have been times that I felt pain at my tendons. When it gets really intense, I prefer to post something with more images than text.

Today, I have tried to use this new website, where you talk and it writes! Appx 1/3 of this post has been typed in the app.

It has a free version and some paid services.

Free speech to text

With the free version you can select your language, click on the mic to turn it on and .. talk.

The app listens to your voice and your speech is transformed into notes.
Yes just like that.

English is not my mother language, I noticed that if I talk slow enough, the app has an approximately 75-80% accuracy.

You could try your own language, and check the results. You do not have to download anything, and it works both in a laptop or on mobile. (it is not mobile friendly, but you can do what you are supposed to do

Steps for the free speech to text

1. Visit https://speechnotes.co/
2. Choose language
3. Click on the microphone
4. Talk and see as the words are being written.
5. You may put the punctuation yourself or speak them (i.e. comma)
6. I usually say the 'New Line' and it goes at the next line

There is also a chrome extension that you can use at any site

The site operates best on Chrome browser. Did not try it on brave yet
You can also put any text to its reader https://ttsreader.com/
