Giggle Academy: CZ's New Project Revealed (and it's not a token)

CZ, the founder and former CEO of Binance, has been the talk of the blockchain-town many times, and for a lot of different reasons. Whether you are among his supporters or not, you cannot defy the fact that he is a pioneer in his field.

Since he pleaded guilty in November 2023, Changpeng Zhao was not very active in social media. But apparently this has changed from now on. CZ has just announced a new educational & non-profit project, aiming to educate children in grades 1-12. He is also actively recruiting a small team to work directly with him.

At the moment CZ is not allowed to leave the country and is expecting to hear his sentence next month in April.

This will be a free to participate project, non profit, funded by CZ himself and may start accepting donations in the near future.

CZ tweeted, "Free basic (grade 1-12 ish) education for all, no revenue, gamified, adaptive,” and he advised us to read the concept paper.

In short, Giggle Academy has been initiated by CZ and the goal is to free education to underprivileged kids worldwide. The platform will teach subjects such as math, science, arts etc but also courses that are not taught in schools, such as negotiations, finance and blockchain.

The ultimate goal is not necessarily to get the students in college, but to help educate them and to find a better job.

Giggle Academy will be an online project, free for all users and emphasis will be given to making a positive impact to the world.

You may have more queries, such as how will all the students have access to internet or which role will the parents play in all this. In the concept paper, all these are mentioned, along with the solutions CZ is proposing.

So, what's next and when?
We will be waiting for the Phase 1, that can be tested but in the paper I found no roadmap.

I think that the timing of this project comes at a crucial point of his life. He is expecting to know the judge's sentence in a few weeks so he may use this initiative.

Whatever the case, I hope that it will be realized because it is very important. Even thought it may be challenging, I will be following its progress and already try to think how blockchains like hive or other projects could contact them for collaboration.
