Things you Steemians ought to do

Sometimes you need to make one of those posts where all the little, but important things you need to say is listed. So let's get to it!

1. Support the Copper Coins Horror Anthology

@kommienezuspadt and @ghostfish is crowdfunding a fascinating horror comic anthology and you should go support them! (See more here). Both of those Steemians are professional and original and I really look forward to the finished result. First World War is a great topic that is all too often overlooked by American artists. Så go buy at least the pdf. You can do it here:

Indiegogo: Copper Coins Horror Anthology Vol. 1 Passchendaele

2. Add and upvote the fabulous and dark-minded poet @tezmel

I know that there are many great artists that come to Steemit, but I have been especially by the poet @tezmel. Personal, original and high quality text is not run of the mill in a social network so I would like people to actually appreciate the ones we have. @tezmel is one of them.

3. Stake (powerup) your creativecoins!

For all the creatives that write #creativecoin in their tag list it is incredible how many that just have ignored the actual site. Go to https://www.creativecoin.xyz/ - log in and stake your coins. It is preceisely like doing it on Steemit and it uses the same keys. Are you in doubt write in the comments, and I'll explain.

4. Force your mother, uncle, nieces and friends to join or rejoin Steemit

I am already at it and expect @evilhippie and @scarlet-rain to return in January 2020. I have also some more potential people. First of all this has to become a fun blogging platform once again, and the more clever & funny people the better.

5. Find out who to downvote... because this place has become to Goddamn law abiding

Well... I am not faring too good in this. After the large bidbots has toned down their abuse and has gone legit it is hard to find real scoundrels to downvote. I guess it is for the best, but remember that only the community can keep down abuse as this is a completely free platform.

1 & 2: DONE!
Copper Coins made me think of some of the better stuff in 2000AD, back in the days when that was in the future, not the past.

That's great. The 2000AD was really a revitalization of British comics. In Denmark, Judge Dredd, was the one we saw most of. Let's hope they manage to collect the money!

There are a few people I signed up to Steem who I want to see be active again. I'm finding less to downvote, but there are still a few cases out there in need of attention. That side of things has definitely improved.

At least now, after the hardfork you do not have to be embarrassed about having signed people up. Before with the bidbots ruling the place I was reluctant to even tell people about it. So I am sure that the policing force of downvotes have done much good. If you think about it it is actually only logical that a community should have some measures against abuse.

It has changed and I hope it's enough for some to want to come back. It is a form of anarchy where bad actors can cause trouble, but I think the benefits outweigh that.
