An evening walk around Tokyo / Wieczorny spacer po Tokio

t1a.jpg

Every walk around Tokyo, during my trip to Japan, was an adventure for me. Sometimes I was walking according to the planned route, and other times - as in the case of the walk from which you can see photos in this post, it was very spontaneous and I just walked forward and watched the space around me, which was very different from what I had known before.

Even though Tokyo is the largest city in the world and 13 million people live here, I felt so safe in the capital of Japan that I walked around Tokyo alone several times, even in the evening. I liked to visit local restaurants. Often through the glass you could see how the meals are being prepared.

Lubiłam zaglądać do miejscowych restauracji.

This is a cute-looking Japanese snack - onigiri. That is, boiled compact rice, here - formed into a panda's face.

To słodko wyglądająca japońska przekąska - onigiri. czylu ugotowany zbity ryż, tutaj - uformowany w mordkę pandy.

When entering many Japanese restaurants, you can see sampuru, which is like replicas of dishes on the menu. They can look almost identical to the real dish. I liked it very much. It's much easier to choose what to eat, especially when the entire menu is written in Japanese.

Przy wejściu do wielu japońskich restauracji można zobaczyć sampuru, czyli jakby repliki potraw z menu. Potrafią wyglądać niemal identycznie jak prawdziwe danie. Bardzo mi się to spodobało. O wiele łatwiej wybrać danie do zjedzenia, szczególnie gdy całe menu jest napisane w języku japońskim.

These are photos from the Tokyo metro station, exceptionally there were few people at the station 😉

Concept of providing sanpuru is really nice. It must help in choosing the dish special when you are new to a place.
Thank you for this information 😊

Yes, I love sampuru! This is the most helpful way to choose the right dish in a restaurant. It's much easier to do that when you see what it looks like 😊

I keep my fingers crossed for you to be able to go to Tokyo. Japan is one of the coolest countries I've been to. Japanese food is one of the healthiest in the world and very delicious. And Japanese people are very friendly, they even help you get to the place when asked for directions 😊
