I like such "live", expressive paintings very much. Anyway, you can see my profile picture, on which is photographed a painting that I once painted. I painted intuitively and spontaneously. I simply reached for new paint colors and painted circular shapes on canvas. It was wonderful! Various emotions flashed through my mind, and through quick brush movements, I was able to express them, vent them, and I liked the end result. Probably many of the paintings shown at this exhibition were also created in a similar way. There are no portraits or landscapes in which you need to resemble reality, in modern art often works of art are more expressive and I think that thanks to this the artist has more freedom when creating their works.

Mi bardzo się podobają takie "żywe", ekspresyjne obrazy. Zresztą możecie zobaczyć moje zdjęcie profilowe, na którym jest sfotografowany obraz, który kiedyś namalowałam. Malowałam intuicyjnie, spontanicznie. Po prostu sięgałam po kolejne kolory farb i malowałam na płótnie koliste kształty. To było coś cudownego. W umyśle pojawiały mi się różne emocje, a poprzez szybkie ruchy pędzlem mogłam dokonać ich ekspresji, dać im upust i spodobał mi się efekt końcowy. Pewnie wiele obrazów pokazanych na tej wystawie również powstało w podobny sposób. Nie ma tam realistycznych portretów, czy krajobrazów na których trzeba zachować podobieństwo do rzeczywistości, w sztuce nowoczesnej często prace są bardziej ekspresyjne i myślę, że dzięki temu artysta podczas tworzenia swoich dzieł ma więcej wolności.

The four images pictured below are drawings inspired by "Electric Dress". Their creator is Atsuko Tanaka, he painted them on paper with crayons, oil ink and water-based ink.

On the video played from the TV set next to the paintings, you could see what the electric dress looked like. It looked like it was made of many multicolored light bulbs made of fluorescent lamps, it also looks a bit like Christmas tree decorations - a chain of lights.

Na filmiku puszczanym z telewizora, który był ustawiony przy obrazkach można było zobaczyć jak wyglądała elektryczna sukienka. Wyglądała jakby była stworzona z wielu różnokolorowych żarówek z lamp jarzeniówek, przypomina też trochę świąteczne ozdoby choinkowe - łańcuch światełek.

From another plaque in the museum, I learned that the painting you can see below is another work by Atsuko Tanaka. Despite the richness of colors, it was called "Three Black Spheres" and was painted with oil paints on canvas. Even though there is a lot of chaos in the painting, I really like the many colorful balls and lines that wrap around them.

Z kolejnej tabliczki w muzeum dowiedziałam się, że obraz, który możecie zobaczyć poniżej to kolejna praca Atsuko Tanaki.Mimo bogactwa barw został nazwany "Trzy czarne kule" i został namalowany farbami olejnymi na płótnie. Mimo, że na obrazie jest dużo chaosu, bardzo mi się podobają te liczne kolorowe kulki i linie, które je oplatają.

Jeśli wolicie bardziej stonowane barwy na obrazach, a może jesteście miłośnikami czerni i bieli to być może polubilibyście poniższe obrazy Jiro Yoshihary pt. "Biały okrąg na czarnym polu", albo "Biały kwadrat na czarnym polu."
