Homemade grilled asparagus with bacon and feta-like cheese / Grillowane szparagi z bekonem i serem podobnym do fety

The asparagus season is on. They are very healthy, low-calorie vegetables. They include, among others lots of fiber, vitamin K, folic acid and lots of minerals. They are easy to digest and very tasty. Personally, I prefer green asparagus to white asparagus. I choose those with thinner stems. I used to show you how to make asparagus baked in the oven, and today I decided to prepare this dish on the grill. I made grilled asparagus with bacon and cheese similar to feta cheese.

Trwa sezon szparagowy. To bardzo zdrowe, niskokaloryczne warzywa. Zawierają m.in. dużo błonnika, witaminę K, kwas foliowy i dużo składników mineralnych. Są lekkostrawne i bardzo smaczne. Osobiście wolę zielone szparagi niż białe. Wybieram takie z cieńszymi łodyżkami. Kiedyś pokazywałam wam jak robiłam szparagi pieczone w piekarniku, a dzisiaj postanowiłam przygotować tą potrawę na grillu. Przyrządziłam grillowane szparagi z dodatkiem bekonu i sera podobnego do sera feta.

Ingredients:

green asparagus
bacon
feta-like or feta cheese
pepper
olive oil
rolls or bread

First, I washed the asparagus and sprinkled it with olive oil and pepper. Then I put them on the hot grill and started grilling.

Najpierw umyłam szparagi i skropiłam je oliwą z oliwek i przyprawiłam pieprzem. Następnie położyłam je na rozgrzanym grillu i zaczęłam grillować.

While the asparagus was grilling for a while, I wrapped some of it in bacon. I stuck it on the asparagus with wooden toothpicks.

Gdy szparagi przez chwilę się grillowały, niektóre z nich owinęłam boczkiem. Spięłam go na szparagi drewnianymi wykałaczkami.

Then I continued to grill the asparagus, turning it over and over from time to time.

At times it was difficult to put on the other side asparagus surrounded by bacon. Toothpicks caught the asparagus beside it. It was a bit of work but it was successful and the asparagus grilled evenly on each side.

Momentami ciężko się przekładało szparagi otoczone bekonem. Wykałaczki zahaczały o szparagi leżące obok. Było z tym trochę zachodu, ale się udało i szparagi zgrillowały się równomiernie, po każdej stronie.

I couldn't wait to try this dish. I haven't eaten asparagus in a long time. I really liked the crispy tips and spears, as well as the grilled bacon and heavily salted cheese. Combined with a roll it turned out to be a very tasty dish. It was nice to eat this meal on the balcony. Recently, I really like to eat outside, hearing birds singing and feeling the warm rays of the sun on me 😋

Nie mogłam się doczekać, aż będę mogła spróbować to danie. Dawno nie jadłam szparagów. Bardzo mi smakowały chrupiące końcówki i łodygi, a także grillowany boczek i mocno solony ser. W połączeniu ze świeżą bułeczką wyszło bardzo smaczne danie 😋 Przyjemnie mi się je jadło na balkonie. Ostatnio bardzo lubię spożywać posiłki na zewnątrz, słysząc śpiew ptaków i czując na sobie ciepłe promienie słońca.
