Millet vegeburger from my favorite vegetarian restaurant / Wegeburger z kaszy jaglanej z mojej ulubionej wege knajpki

There was a snowstorm in Warsaw that day. I decided to warm up a little and eat something in my favorite vegetarian restaurant, Krowarzywa. Upon entering, I was surprised by the idea for the burger of the month. In January, it is Grandma's minced cutlet with cucumber salad 😉 I ordered the traditional Jaglanex, a millet burger with vegetable toppings - pickled cucumber, romaine lettuce, sprouts, peppers, onions and spinach. Standard sauces too - tomato and dill, but they put it the other way around. I prefer it when the tomato sauce is on the bottom roll.

Tego dnia w Warszawie szalała zamieć śnieżna. Postanowiłam ogrzać się trochę i coś zjeść w mojej ulubionej wegetariańskiej knajpce Krowarzywa. Przy wejściu zaskoczył mnie pomysł na burgera miesiąca. W styczniu jest nim mielony babci z mizerią 😉 Ja zamówiłam tradycyjnie - Jaglanexa, czyli burgera z kaszy jaglanej z warzywnymi dodatkami - tj. ogórek kiszony, sałata rzymska, kiełki, papryka, cebula i szpinak. Sosy też standardowe - pomidorowy i koperkowy, tylko nałożyli mi j na odwrót. Wolę, gdy sos pomidorowy znajduje się na dolnej bułce.

There were several people in the restaurant. I rarely come there at this time, usually in the evening and then they have a lot more customers. It was nice to eat delicious food without the crowds of people right next to it.

W restauracji znajdowało się kilka osób. Rzadko przychodzę tam o tej porze, zazwyczaj bywam tak wieczorem i wtedy mają zdecydowanie więcej klientów. Fajnie było zjeść sobie pyszne jedzenie bez tłumu ludzi tuż obok.

Here is my vegeburger. It looks a bit like it has a mustache, thanks to the sprouts that entered it and the top bun 😉 The bun was well done, crispy. Delicious as always fresh vegetables, a sauce and a cutlet with millet.

A to mój wegeburger. Wygląda trochę jakby miał wąsy, za sprawą kiełków, które weszły mu a górną bułkę 😉 Bułka była dobrze wypieczona, chrupiąca. Smaczne jak zawsze świeże warzywa oraz sosik i kotlet z kaszą jaglaną.

*New in Krowarzywa are Lojalex loyalty cards. Cool designed. I wonder how many stamps with a cow's head I will be able to collect 😉

Nowością w Krowarzywa są takie karty lojalnoście Lojalex. Fajnie zaprojektowane. Ciekawe ile pieczątek z głową krowy uda mi się uzbierać 😉

While waiting for the vegeburger, I watched for a moment as the restaurant clerk was making veggie tortillas.

Czekając na burgera popatrzyłam przez chwilę jak pracownik restauracji robił wegetariańskie tortille.

You can also buy sweets such as apple pies, brownies and lemonades (orange and ginger) and with lemon.

Można tam też kupić słodkości, takie jak szarlotki, brownie oraz lemoniady (pomarańcza i imbir) oraz z z cytryną.
