Paros Greek restaurant 🇬🇷 Elegant interiors and animations of sea waves on the walls / Kulinarny powrót na Kretę

Recently, I went to a Greek restaurant in Warsaw, which enchanted me with its interior and I want to show it to you. After entering the restaurant, I was impressed by how spacious it is and how interestingly it was designed. The restaurant consists of a huge main hall with numerous tables and a more intimate, smaller room. I immediately noticed the lighting in the room. Numerous small lamps on the ceiling and many elegant lamps lamps hanging from the ceiling, emitting a soft, subtle, warm shade of light, thanks to which the room was cozy.

In the large room, you can immediately feel the atmosphere of a Greek restaurant thanks to the characteristic tables and chairs and the colors - a lot of white and wooden elements. After entering the room, I left my jacket in the restaurant cloakroom and instead of a numbertag, I received a rubber wristband with the inscription Paros and number on it. Similar to the wristbands you get on all inclusive holidays 😉 I immediately remembered my September trip to Crete Island and felt like going out for Greek food every day. The waitress offered me a table in the large room, but my introverted part of personality preferred a more secluded place and asked if I could sit in the smaller room. I saw that there are a lot of vacancies. The waitress agreed and I got a fantastic seat in the corner of the small room. Right next to an interesting solution that I saw for the first time in a restaurant. Namely, large screens on which you could see the waving sea. It felt like sitting in a seaside tavern. Of course, it was much better live, and nothing can replace the view of the real sea, but it was nice to have such a sea substitute next to you instead of a plain white wall.

In the large hall there was a large bar covered with white wood, with golden elements, including a large golden pourer. In addition to a variety of Greek food, you can buy cool drinks here with names referring to Greek islands. For example, drink Santorini, Crete, Ithaca, or the name referring to the well-known beach with pink sand, about which I wrote a post on the blog some time ago - Elafonisi. Creatively 😊

Kreatywnie 😊

Another advantage of this place was the Greek music. In the corner of the large hall, the guests of the restaurant were entertained by the music of a Greek band.

Kolejnym atutem tego miejsca była grecka muzyka. W rogu dużej sali gościom restauracji umilał czas muzyką grecki zespół.

Numerous red flowers added coziness to the small room. I immediately remembered such flowers growing in Greek restaurants in Crete. The one I visited during my stay on the island had a lot of pots with flowers. It's nice that there are also such elements of nature here.

On the table, apart from the menu, there was a large card with a map of Greece and mini-phrasebooks. Several phrases with translation into Polish, Greek and English. For example, Kisses are Filakia in Greek and buziaki in Polish. It is a pity that there were no such conversations in a restaurant in Crete, they would be more useful there 😉

Np.

I ordered a dish that I ate on the island of Crete and I liked it very much. Sea bream with salad and potatoes. And a drink with the name of one of the Greek islands 😉 The food was very tasty. I also got an aromatic olive sauce for fish.

Doradę z surówką i ziemniakami. Dostałam tez aromatyczny oliwkowy sos do ryby.

It's nice sometimes going to a restaurant is like moving to another country and forgetting for a moment that it's winter. Thanks to the design of this restaurant, they were able to provide me with such an unusual experience, and at the same time I received a delicious meal. I will definitely visit Paros again.

Paros Greek restaurant is indeed a place full of beautiful architecture. The semi-dark light emanating from the lamps inside is mesmerizing. The shapes of the lamps hanging on the ceiling in different shapes are also attractive. In fact, more customers can be seen eating in this restaurant. It is because of the architectural features that attract customers. Welcome to this community and thank you for sharing the details including the interior of a beautiful restaurant.

You are right @madushanka. Customers can be enchanted by the interior of a restaurant and not only does it make them feel better being there, but there is a good chance that, apart from the food, it will be a factor that will make them want to come back there. Thanks for the warm welcome to the aplusd community 😊🌸

Hello @katiefreespirit. Fantastic! The Paros Greek restaurant has definitely served its purpose, transporting you and other guests to the original Greek islands thru their authentic cuisine, music, and most importantly, incredible architecture. Like you, I'll also choose a more private spot to enjoy my meal and immerse in its nostalgic environment. And with the addition of those spectacular screens exhibiting views of the real sea, you're absolutely dining in paradise. 😊👍

I truly admire the vibrant lighting systems of that establishment! As fascinating as they are, what are your thoughts about those pinkish-colored lamps and other lighting details that might have caught your attention?

Hi @storiesoferne 😊 With such similarities, if we ever went to dinner together, we would know where to sit in a restaurant so that our introverted souls would feel the most comfy 😉

I liked the lamps hanging from the ceiling the most. I prefer warm light, yellow, but not harsh, just a little dim, and they emitted the most comfortable lighting for me. They also had a cool look, a bit boho style.

The lamps, resembling squares turned sideways, also looked interesting. They look as if they were made of natural materials and created a friendly environment.

Those pinkish-colored lamps are very large and modern. I associate them more with the Scandinavian style design than with the Greek. I'd need to be in a party mood to enjoy them 😉 What do you think about them?

Indeed @katiefreespirit, your impressions are truly interesting. We would surely adjust easily to each other's tastes due to our similar personalities. At least, I now have an idea on where to find you in crowded places like this busy restaurant, haha. 😁

I think those pinkish lamps were purposely installed to slightly energize the mood of dining customers. If the lighting system was too warm, it might make people too comfortable. Who wants to feel sleepy while enjoying their delicious meal with a glass of wine and live Greek music, right? lol 🤣 Hence, the general ambiance of that vibrant environment is simply ideal. Impressive work of architecture! ☺️👍
