Paryski Art & Business Hotel in Zakopane, near the Tatra Mountains. A building in a highlander style with elegant interiors... and a landline phone as if from the 19th century.

During my trip to Zakopane, I stayed at the Paryski Hotel. This is a 4-star hotel located in the Pardalowka district, slightly away from the center, but can be reached quickly by car or bus. It is a nice starting point for mountain trails in the Tatra Mountains. The hotel is designed in a characteristic Podhale style with sloping roofs and sloping walls.

Podczas pobytu w Zakopanem zatrzymałam się w hotelu Paryski. To 4 gwiazdkowy hotel, który znajduje się w dzielnicy Pardałówka, nieco oddalonej od centrum, ale szybko można do niego dojechać samochodem lub busem. To fajny punkt wypadowy na tatrzańskie szlaki. Hotel jest zaprojektowany w charakterystycznym podhalańskim stylu ze spadzistymi dachami i ścianami ze skosami.

The interior of the hotel is very elegant. Right next to the reception there is the Paryska restaurant, and the piano and French-style chairs are such a beautiful element of the decor. Wooden with seat and backrest covered with beige upholstery. Christmas accents - a Christmas tree and lights hung on branches made of conifers. So the first impressions after entering the hotel were very positive.

Wnętrze hotelu jest bardzo eleganckie. Tuż przy recepcji znajduje się restauracja Paryska, a tak piękny element wystroju stanowią fortepian oraz krzesła w stylu francuskim. Drewniane z siedziskiem i oparciem pokrytym beżową tapicerką. Było też dużo akcentów świątecznych - choinka i lampki zawieszone na gałęziach z iglaków. Czyli pierwsze wrażenia po wejściu do hotelu były bardzo pozytywne.

I got a very cozy room. Framed pictures of Tatra nature hung on the walls. You could see crocuses and views of the Tatra Mountains on them. The room was also very elegant, with French-style furniture and an unusual addition... a landline phone from the 19th century 😉

Pokój dostałam bardzo przytulny. Na ścianach wisiały oprawione w ramkę zdjęcia tatrzańskiej przyrody. Krokusów oraz widoków na Tatry. Pokój też był bardzo elegancki, z meblami we francuskim stylu oraz nietypowym dodatkiem... telefonem stacjonarnym jak z XIX wieku 😉

When I saw the landline phone in the room, I felt like I had stepped back in time. I picked up the handset of this phone and it turned out to be working. Probably used to communicate with the reception. It was a telephone from an antique collection.

Gdy zobaczyłam telefon stacjonarny w pokoju, poczułam jakbym cofnęła się w czasie. Podniosłam słuchawkę tego telefonu i okazało się, że działa. Pewnie służy do komunikacji z recepcją. Był to telefon pochodzący z kolekcji antyków.

The bathroom was very modern and functional. I really liked it. Especially tiles that remind me of Portugal and the blue and white ceramic tiles popular there, called azulejos. Such decorative ceramics add a lot of charm to the bathroom.

Łazienka była za to bardzo nowoczesna i funkcjonalna. Bardzo mi się spodobała. Szczególnie płytki, które kojarzą mi się z Portugalią i popularnymi tam biało niebieskimi płytkami ceramicznymi, zwanymi azulejos. Dużo uroku dodaje pomieszczeniu taka dekoracyjna ceramika.

Swimming pool and jacuzzi in the evening / Basen i jacuzzi wieczorem

From the very beginning, when I found out about this hotel, I really liked the Wellness Zone located in it. In such places you can relax after traveling and after a day of sightseeing or skiing. I first went to see this part of the hotel in the evening. I really liked the design of the swimming pool area. The interior has been designed very tastefully.

Od początku, gdy dowiedziałam się o tym hotelu bardzo spodobała mi się znajdująca się w nim Strefa Wellness. W takich miejscach można fajnie odpocząć po podróży i po dniu zwiedzania, czy jeżdżenia na nartach. Najpierw poszłam zobaczyć tę część hotelu wieczorem. Bardzo mi się spodobał wystrój basenu. Znajdujące się na ścianach greckie płaskorzeźby, egzotyczne rośliny. Wnętrze zostało tu zaprojektowane bardzo gustownie.

The water in the pool was just the right temperature and I went there at a time when no one else was there but me. I had the whole pool all to myself, which is how I like it. I spent a lot of time in it.

Woda w basenie miała odpowiednią temperaturę i trafiłam na czas, gdy nie było nikogo oprócz mnie. Miałam cały basen tylko dla siebie, czyli tak jak najbardziej lubię. Spędziłam w nim sporo czasu.

I also used the hotel jacuzzi. The water here was much warmer than in the pool. I was very relaxed by such a pleasant hydromassage.

Skorzystałam też z hotelowego jacuzzi. Tu woda była o wiele cieplejsza niż w basenie. Bardzo mnie zrelaksował taki przyjemny hydromasaż.

Delicious breakfast with a view of the mountains / Pyszne śniadanie z widokiem na góry

At the hotel I ate both breakfast, included in the room price, and dishes ordered in the evening from the hotel restaurant. The food was delicious. Buffet for breakfast, with so much food to choose from that there's something for everyone. I liked e.g. cheese, various oscypek cheese (a type of traditional, local sheep's cheese) to choose from. It was nice to eat seeing the snow-covered mountain peaks outside the window.

W hotelu jadłam zarówno śniadania, wliczone w cenę pokoju, jak i dania zamawiane wieczorem z hotelowej restauracji. Jedzenie było przepyszne. Na śniadanie bufet, z tak dużą ilością jedzenia do wyboru, że każdy znalazłby tam coś dla siebie. Spodobały mi się m.in. z serów, różne oscypki do wyboru. Przyjemnie się jadło widząc za oknem pokryte śniegiem szczyty górskie.

Swimming pool and sauna in the morning / Basen i sauna rano

I also managed to use the pool in the morning when there were no other guests. At this time, the view from the pool to the Tatra Mountains was nice. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi was occupied, but I used the sauna instead.

Rano też udało mi się skorzystać z basenu, gdy nie było innych gości. O tej porze fajny był widok z basenu na Tatry. Niestety jacuzzi było zajęte, ale za to skorzystałam z sauny.

I rate this hotel very good. Great design, cozy interiors, nice and helpful staff. You could get enough sleep there and relax in the Wellness area, and they had delicious food. I will probably go back there sometime 😉

Hotel oceniam bardzo dobrze. Świetny design, przytulne wnętrza, miła, pomocna obsługa. Można było się tam fajnie wyspać i odpocząć w strefie Wellness, a do tego mieli pyszne jedzenie. Pewnie jeszcze kiedyś tam wrócę 😉
