The picturesque Vistula River, moored barges, the view from the observation deck / Malownicza Wisła, zacumowane barki, widok z tarasu widokowego
On Wednesday, I was supposed to return home from the center of Warsaw by metro, but the weather was beautiful and I decided to change my plans and ride a bike by the Vistula River. A bicycle path leads there with a beautiful view of the river. It was a slow mindfulness ride.
W środę miałam wrócić metrem z centrum Warszawy do domu, ale była piękna pogoda i postanowiłam zmienić plany i przejechać się rowerem przy Wiśle. Wiedzie tam droga rowerowa z pięknym widokiem na rzekę. Była to wolna, mindfulnessowa przejażdżka.
On the way I passed many barges converted into riverside restaurants and bars. They look very atmospheric. In some barges there are parties in the evenings. The one below is a restaurant on the water called "River Cafe". You can eat good food here, or have a drink or a cocktail.
Po drodze mijałam wiele barek przerobionych na nadrzeczne restauracje i bary. Wyglądają bardzo klimatycznie. W niektórych wieczorami odbywają się imprezy. Ta poniżej to restauracja na wodzie, która nazywa się "River Cafe". Można tu zjeść dobre jedzenie, albo wypić drinka, albo jakiś koktajl.
I stopped every now and then to observe the nature of the Vistula river. Including gulls floating just above the waterline. A very relaxing view.
Zatrzymywałam się co jakiś czas, żeby obserwować nadwiślańską przyrodę. M.in. mewy pływające tuż nad taflą wody. Bardzo relaksujący widok.
When I was riding the bicycle path, at one point I noticed the observation deck. I went upstairs and looked at the river from a different perspective. In the distance you could see the right bank of the Vistula and a lovely view of the river.
Gdy jechałam drogą rowerową, w pewnym momencie zauważyłam taras widokowy. Weszłam na górę i spojrzałam na rzekę z innej perspektywy. Wyglądała cudownie, a w oddali widać było prawy brzeg Wisły.

I also saw a passenger ship sailing on the river. Maybe this season I will go on such a ship as well 😉
Widziałam też statek pasażerski płynący po rzece. Może w tym sezonie też takim popłynę 😉

The river and the surrounding scenery look very pleasant, especially in cloudy weather
