Wonderful exotic flowers on the island of Crete 🌺 / Cudowne egzotyczne kwiaty na Krecie

When I'm in countries in the south of Europe, by the Mediterranean Sea, I'm always amazed by the local nature. It was similar during my trip to Crete. It was accompanied by an abundance of wonderful flowers. I'll show you some of them in this post. The first is plumeria, also known as frangipani. It grew near the hotel where I stayed, but I also saw it in private gardens. I love it flowers, especially in this variety, with petals white on the outside and yellow on the inside.

Gdy przebywam w krajach na południu Europy, nad morzem Śródziemnym, zawsze zachwyca mnie tutejsza przyroda. Podobnie było podczas mojego wyjazdu na Kretę. Towarzyszył mu urodzaj cudownych kwiatów. Pokażę wam w tym poście niektóre z nich. Pierwszy to plumeria, nazywana też kwiatem Lei. Rosła niedaleko hotelu, w którym nocowałam, ale widziałam ją też w prywatnych ogródkach. Uwielbiam jej kwiaty, szczególnie w tej odmianie, z płatkami białymi od zewnętrznej strony i żółtymi w środku.

Another flower that caught my attention was bougainvillea. The numerous small white flowers growing on the stamens and pink petals in the background looked lovely.

Innym kwiatem, który zwrócił moją uwagę była bugenwilla. Uroczo wyglądały liczne małe białe kwiatuszki wyrastające na pręcikach i różowe płatki w tle.

Another beautiful flowers that I liked are hibiscus. I saw them in different shades. You can see the red ones below. They grew by the beach, in a private garden and blended beautifully against the beach, sea and the nearby island.

Kolejne piękne kwiaty, które mi się spodobały to hibiskusy. Widziałam je w różnych odcieniach. Poniżej możecie zobaczyć czerwone. Rosły przy plaży, w prywatnym ogrodzie i pięknie się komponowały na tle plaży, morza i znajdującej się niedaleko wyspy.

Here's another variety of hibiscus. Violet-maroon with a white stamen. I like when nature creates such natural combinations of matching colors on plants.

A tu inna odmiana hibiskusa. Fioletowo bordowe z białym pręcikiem. Lubię, gdy natura tworzy na roślinach takie naturalne połączenia pasujących do siebie kolorów.

When I was in one of the larger cities in Crete, in Chania I saw such a magnificent oleander shrub with flowers with pink petals.

Gdy byłam w jednym z większych miast na Krecie, w Chanii widziałam taki okazały krzew oleandrów z kwiatami o różowych płatkach.

And this is a flower that also grows in my country - the morning glory. However, it was different against the background of the nature in Crete, the magnificent reeds. Besides, the loud chirping of cicadas was heard over the reeds.
