Continuing Our Valletta Adventure: A Peaceful Walk from the Basilica to Discovering the Charm of Lower Barrakka Beautiful View.

Hello Travellers and welcome to our Malta adventure! 👋
After our peaceful visit to the Basilica of St. Dominic and Porto Salvo, we continued our journey through the beautiful streets of Valletta.
We weren't in a rush because every corner of the street had something worth seeing. Details are everywhere and that Valletta offered to us. It's too beautiful to hurry and make every step enjoyable.

Valletta seems timeless and has its unique charm. It was one of my bucket list destinations. And now I've finally visited it.
My husband makes our itinerary every time we travel. After winding through the streets, we reached our destination. Lower Barracka gardens is one of the hidden gems in Valletta.
There are two Barrakka Gardens in Valletta :the Upper Barrakka Gardens and the Lower Barrakka Gardens.

But for now, I’ll share the Lower Barrakka Gardens with you guys.
It’s much peaceful, feels calm and less touristy. Unfortunately, the Lower Barrakka garden is temporarily closed for renovations. It was a bit disappointing. But the beautiful views still made us feel relaxed.

We sat on the bench and the trees provided shade from the warm Mediterranean sun.

The Grand Harbour gave us breathtaking views. It was more comfortable to sit and relax for a while. It was an unforgettable experience. From the peaceful surroundings, fresh air and breathtaking views were so amazing.
When you visit Valletta, don't miss these hidden gems of Lower Barrakka Garden and the Grand Harbour.

When we were sitting on the bench, Aya spotted a pigeon and she was busy chasing them. Aya's laugh was so contagious. It was like she's never been tired of walking. And Aya told us, She loves Malta. She even loves to travel and wants to see more of the world.
From afar, we could see the large cruise ships and smaller boats moving peacefully across the bright blue sea. Every direction offered something beautiful to admire. The golden limestone walls that stand out against the beautiful Mediterranean Sea.

I took the photo from afar, the Siege Bell War Memorial. It is one of Valletta's important landmarks. During World War II, it is to honor the brave Maltese men and women who lost their lives to protect their country.

The peaceful places left us the biggest impact especially the Lower Barrakka and Grand Harbour. The place also gave us a chance to take a short break and it became another memorable chapter of our adventure.
While walking to our next destination, the Siege Bell War Memorial. When we arrived, the memorial was closed during our visit. Seeing from outside was still worth it. So we continued our next plan of wandering around Valletta.
Thanks for reading my blog and I hope you liked the glimpse of beautiful Valletta. Our Malta adventure isn't over yet. So stay tuned for our more adventures coming soon.😘
