Our Final Evening: Ending Our Malta Trip with a Beautiful Sunset

It always felt different especially on our last days in Malta. The beautiful country already has wonderful memories, so many beautiful places, walking through old streets, our ferry boat experience, visiting historical sites, delicious food and we enjoyed family adventures.

There are still beautiful places we didn't visit, from other cities but we're so grateful for some of the places.

Before we went back home and finally said goodbye, we still had one more special thing we wanted to do. Like they said, save the best for last and this was to watch the sunset by the sea.

We decided to simply walk around that afternoon and enjoy the surroundings without rushing at all.

After our days of adventure from going from one attraction to another, it felt nice to slow down and wander the hours left in Valletta.

That afternoon was filled with people enjoying their own time on the streets and the sun was still bright.

As we walked together, I noticed how many people were also waiting for the sunset.

Others were sitting outside the Cafe, some were walking looking for a beautiful spot, some enjoying swimming in the natural pool and others were already finding a good place to watch the evening sky.

I think it was a perfect spot to stay on the stone walls. Unfortunately there are group of people already in the place.

While we continued walking, the atmosphere was peaceful and beautiful, which made the moment feel even more special.

The sky changed its color, the sea started to sparkle as the afternoon light faded slowly and peacefully changed the atmosphere.

We found a beautiful place where we could sit and enjoy the sunset view. We decided to stay at the Gunpost Snack bar and Restaurant. We ordered our drinks and enjoyed our final sunset in Malta.

While checking the time, we were talking about our next plan after Malta.

Then the time came, everyone seemed to become a little quieter. The sunlight reflected across the horizon and made the Mediterranean sea look almost golden.

I grab my mobile and put it on the table while recording the sunset. I really love the sunset and it was so beautiful.

All of us are enjoying seeing those boats, sparkling sea and everything beautiful. And for sure people on the boat will have their party after the sunset.

By simply watching the sun go down, it was the end of our journey. Our last night in Malta gave us one last beautiful view.

We're so grateful that we could experience this trip together. Traveling with my loved ones is not always perfect and takes time for the experience we had. And all of these are also part of our memories that we will treasure forever.

People were taking their final photos before the light disappeared. Some couples were sitting together, families were watching the view. Others simply stood there, looking toward the horizon.

Night came as the sky slowly became darker and the sun disappeared. It was time to leave because we still need to prepare our things and in the morning it's time to say goodbye to Malta.

It was a beautiful memory from our family adventure. Thank you, Malta. Until next time.
