La palabra milagro puede tener significados diferentes para cada uno de nosotros.

Por eso decidí colocar la definición; según el diccionario RAE (Real Academia Española) la palabra milagro representa:

a) Hecho no explicable por las leyes naturales y que se atribuye a intervención sobrenatural de origen divino.

b) Suceso o cosa rara, extraordinaria y maravillosa.

Deseo comenzar con el milagro de la vida…..en nuestra acelerada cultura todo tiene que ir de prisa. Y esa velocidad se la imprimimos a cualquier cosa que hacemos a todos los niveles. Esto conlleva a no valorar y, a no disfrutar los momentos agradables que siempre tiene la vida.
Pienso que la vida por si misma es un milagro….el nacimiento de un bebé trae muchísima felicidad…..

Para mi existen pequeños y grandes milagros. Yo catalogo a los pequeños milagros lo que nos ocurren en el diario vivir…..Entre ellos te puedo señalar las siguientes historias:

1)Hace años una vecina dejó a su única hija en la casa. Ella tenía que trabajar y, ese día, no tenía quien la supervisara. Anita, de 11 años, estaba con su fiel perra Princesa. A Princesa casi nunca se la escuchaba ladrar, salvo que estuviese sola con Anita. En esas circunstancias se transformaba…..

Un día llegó el repartidor de refrescos. Anita tenía dinero y decide abrir la puerta y, comprar los refrescos. Lleva el dinero, el hombre extiende la mano e, inesperadamente, Princesa le apresa una pierna y no lo suelta. Cada vez aprieta más duro. El hombre sale arrastrando la pierna y, con ella la perra. Ya, fuera de la casa, el repartidor le dice que le tire el dinero al suelo. La niña da la orden a la perra que lo suelte. La perra obedece pero enseña los dientes hasta que entra en la casa. Al cerrar la puerta la perra sigue al lado de Anita hasta que, finalmente se fue el repartidor.

Nadie sabe que pudo captar Princesa de ese hombre….lo cierto es que defendió a la niña.

2)Ahora mi caso. Yo tengo una bella planta de menta. Me da su aroma cada vez que me asomo al balcón. Durante la pandemia me tuve que quedar en casa de mamá. Cuando pude llegar al apartamento….¡Oh! Mi planta estaba seca. Sentí dolor y se me ocurrió pedirle perdón y, explicarle el por qué dejé de regarla. Además, la regaba como si estuviese viva y le hable, todos los días, durante una semana. Luego me ausenté por 3 días y cuando regresé: ¡Sorpresa! Mi mata estaba retoñando….le di las gracias y le decía que la amaba. Mi planta hoy dia está como la que les muestro en la foto… (Esta foto es de mi autoría)

En este momento voy con los milagros sorprendentes…..

3)Conozco una vecina, Mirta, que le diagnosticaron cáncer. Ella estaba haciendo todos sus tratamientos médicos pero no veía mejoría. Su hermana pertenece a un grupo de oración católico, los carismáticos. Un día la invita a una reunión. Ella fue por complacer a su hermana. Luego de orarle, una de las personas que estaba allí dice: usted se va a curar cuando perdone…..

Mirta no tenía ningún resentimiento…….se quedó perpleja. La persona le comenta que es algo inconsciente. Que tome la decisión de perdonar a su padrastro. Mirta siguió sus consejos y, poco a poco, se reveló lo que ella nunca dijo: intento de violación de su padrastro. Mirta empezó con el perdón. Hoy en dia está sana. Un milagro de perdonar…..

4)Otro caso es un niño con retraso mental y problemas motores. La maestra que lo atendía le tenía un aprecio especial. Sin comentar nada solicitó ayuda a un grupo de oración. Todos los días oraban. No se veía ningún cambio. Al tercer año empezó el milagro…..desaparecieron los problemas motrices. Eso fue corroborado por un médico. Y después de 6 años de incansable fe y lucha ahora el niño es declarado sano. No tiene ningún signo de retraso mental. Todo eso fue corroborado por médicos especialistas. Ese testimonio lo escuché cuando asistí a una misa de sanación. Y fue lo que más impactó a la audiencia.

Bueno, concluyo diciendo que siempre hay que creer en los milagros, aunque por ahora no los veas en tu vida. El mundo está lleno de milagros pero lamentablemente esas noticias no tienen difusión.….

I want to start with the miracle of life..... in our fast-paced culture everything has to go fast. And that speed is imprinted on everything we do at all levels. This leads to not valuing and not enjoying the pleasant moments that life always has.
I think that life itself is a miracle.... the birth of a baby brings a lot of happiness.....

For me there are small miracles and big miracles. I call small miracles what happens to us in our daily lives...... Among them I can point out the following stories:

1)Years ago a neighbor left her only daughter at home. She had to work and, that day, she had no one to supervise her. Anita, 11 years old, was with her faithful dog Princesa. Princess was rarely heard barking unless she was alone with Anita. Under those circumstances she would transform.....

One day the soda delivery man arrived. Anita had money and decided to open the door and buy the soda. She brings the money, the man extends his hand and, unexpectedly, Princess grabs his leg and does not let go. She squeezes harder and harder. The man leaves, dragging his leg and, with it, the dog. Already, outside the house, the delivery man tells her to throw the money on the floor. The girl orders the dog to let go. The dog obeys but bares her teeth until she enters the house. When the door closes, the dog follows Anita's side until the delivery man finally leaves.

No one knows what Princess could catch from that man..... What is certain is that she defended the girl.

2)Now for my case. I have a beautiful mint plant. It gives me its scent every time I look out on the balcony. During the pandemic I had to stay at mom's house. When I was able to get to the apartment .... Oh! My plant was dry. I felt pain and it occurred to me to ask her forgiveness and, explain to her why I stopped watering it. Also, I watered it as if it were alive and talked to it, every day, for a week. Then I went away for 3 days and when I came back: Surprise! My bush was sprouting.... I thanked her and told her I loved her. My plant today looks like the one I show you in the photo... (This photo is my own).

Right now I'm going with the amazing miracles.....

3)I know a neighbor, Mirta, who was diagnosed with cancer. She was doing all her medical treatments but saw no improvement. Her sister belongs to a Catholic prayer group, the charismatics. One day she invites her to a meeting. She went to please her sister. After praying to her, one of the people there said: you will be cured when you forgive......

Mirta had no resentment....... she was perplexed. The person commented that it was something unconscious. She should make the decision to forgive her stepfather. Mirta followed his advice and, little by little, it was revealed what she never said: attempted rape by her stepfather. Mirta started with forgiveness. Today she is healthy. A miracle of forgiveness.....

4)Another case is a child with mental retardation and motor problems. The teacher who cared for him was very fond of him. Without commenting, she asked for help from a prayer group. Every day they prayed. No change could be seen. In the third year, the miracle began..... the motor problems disappeared. This was corroborated by a doctor. And after 6 years of tireless faith and struggle now the child is declared healthy. He has no signs of mental retardation. All this was corroborated by medical specialists. I heard this testimony when I attended a healing mass. And it was what struck the audience the most.

Well, I conclude by saying that you should always believe in miracles, even if you don't see them in your life for now. The world is full of miracles, but unfortunately those news are not broadcast......
