Ladies of Hive Contest #91 || "TU SANGRE EN MI CUERPO" 🧡

Debo cconfesar que la semana pasada extrañé mucho el concurso, ya se ha vuelto un bonito hábito y un ejercicio de reflexión intersante el escribir sobre diferentes aspectos relacionados a nuestra vida diaria y a nuestra naturaleza propia como mujeres.
Por eso estoy muy alegre de escribir esta publicación. En esta ocasión responderé a la primera pregunta ya que desde que la leí por primera vez, supe que tenía que redactar sobre este tema.

Mi música favorita son las baladas románticas, las rancheras y el pop latino, y algunas canciones religiosas. Puedo decir que tengo muchas canciones favoritas, en especial las de mi cantautor favorito: Ricardo Arjona, quien tiene una manera muy particular de expresar sentimientos a través de metáforas y muchos recursos literarios. Para mí, él es un poeta que canta; un poeta un poco rebelde, pero muy realista y que no tiene miedo de hablar del amor desde una perspectiva más real y muy poco soñadora.

Music is definitely a magical world. The songs have a very strong power in those who listen to them; both lyrics and melody are capable of moving emotions, feelings, joys and sufferings within hearts. That is why it is important to listen to good music, not only to sing or dance; but also to feed our souls and heal our hearts.

My favorite music is romantic ballads, rancheras and Latin pop, and some religious songs. I can say that I have many favorite songs, especially those of my favorite singer-songwriter: Ricardo Arjona, who has a very particular way of expressing feelings through metaphors and many literary devices. For me, he is a poet who sings; a slightly rebellious poet, but very realistic and who is not afraid to talk about love from a more real perspective and very little dreamer.

There are many songs by Ricardo Arjona that move feelings within me, with many of his songs I have been able to feel identified at different stages of my life. However, none of their songs have provoked such a strong reaction as to bring tears to my eyes.

The song that has managed to completely disarm me and make me cry in such an emotional and disconsolate way is a "ranchera", this type of music is currently known as "Mexican regional music".

This song is titled "Your blood in my body", it is sung as a duo by Pepe Aguilar and his daughter Angela Aguilar, both very popular and famous Mexican artists.

The song is dedicated to the love between a father and a daughter, it talks about how much they both love each other and how much they will continue to love each other despite the fact that one day life may separate them.

The first time I heard this song, my father had passed away a few months. At that time I cried uncontrollably while listening to it and since then every time I listen to it I can't help but let my tears flow like springs of salt water. For this reason it is a song that I have saved on my cell phone but that I listen to very rarely because of how much it affects me to listen to it. She used it as a measure of emotions, I know that when I managed to listen to her without shedding so many tears, I will have healed many wounds.

I dedicate this song undoubtedly to my father, everything he says faithfully expresses what I feel for him. The part that affects me the most is the stanza that says:

" Take my hand tightly, don't let go, I beg you
Let's always walk together, that wherever I go, I'll take you
If life separates us, I swear and promise you
That you exist in my heart, like your blood in my body"

It brings back my memories of the time I had to let go of my father's hand so he could enter the operating room, that was the last contact we had before he passed away. But as the song says, he exists in my heart just as his blood is in my body.
