La paz que me ofrece el mar
nadie más me la puede dar;
Un mar inmenso,
Un mar sereno;
Mar en calma.

The peace that the sea offers me
no one else can give me;
An immense sea,
A serene sea;
A calm sea.

Amanecer cerca del mar y poder contemplar toda esta serenidad es una de las experiencias más maravillosas que he podido vivir. Cada vez que iba de visita al pequeño pueblo de Santa Fe en mi querida Venezuela, me levantaba muy temprano para poder contemplar este maravilloso espectáculo. Un mar tranquilo, con suaves olas que apenas mueven los pequeños botes de los pescadores de la zona. Las aves reposan encima de estos botes y aprovechan la paz y la quietud que se respira cuando el día apenas inicia y el sol aún no aparece para iluminar todo con sus rayos.

Sunrise near the sea and being able to contemplate all this serenity is one of the most wonderful experiences I have ever had. Every time I visited the small town of Santa Fe in my beloved Venezuela, I would get up very early in the morning to be able to contemplate this wonderful spectacle. A calm sea, with gentle waves that barely move the small boats of the local fishermen. The birds rest on top of these boats and take advantage of the peace and quiet that is breathed when the day has just begun and the sun has not yet appeared to illuminate everything with its rays.

El mar siempre ha sido para mi, el lugar perfecto para maravillarnos de la creación y para estar en comunión con Dios y con nosotros mismos. Aprecio como un tesoro cada una de las imágenes en las que pude capturar momentos mágicos. Cada amanecer y cada crepúsculo frente al mar los considero como un regalo divino que me demuestra la inmensidad del amor de Dios.

Estar frente a este increíble paisaje, me permitía reflexionar sobre el hecho de que no necesitamos demasiados objetos o demasiadas cosas para ser felices. No son necesarias tantas cosas materiales cuando comprendemos que las cosas más hermosas de la vida son gratis y este tipo de experiencias perduran en nuestra mente y nuestro corazón para siempre.

The sea has always been for me, the perfect place to marvel at creation and to commune with God and ourselves. I treasure every single image in which I was able to capture magical moments. I consider each sunrise and sunset in front of the sea as a divine gift that shows me the immensity of God's love.

Being in front of this incredible landscape allowed me to reflect on the fact that we do not need too many objects or too many things to be happy. We don't need so many material things when we understand that the most beautiful things in life are free and these kinds of experiences last in our minds and hearts forever.
