LOH Contest #180 || My small garden

Bendecida tarde estimadas Damas de Hive, deseo que estén teniendo una estupenda semana. Es un grato placer volver a redactar una publicación como entrada al acostumbrado concurso semanal de la comunidad. En esta ocasión elegí responder a la pregunta número 1, referente a las plantas y jardines.

Blessed afternoon dear Ladies of Hive, I hope you are having a great week. It is a great pleasure to once again write a post as an entry to the community's usual weekly contest. On this occasion I chose to answer question number 1, referring to plants and gardens.

Las plantas ornamentales me gustan mucho, en especial las plantas florales, sin embargo, nunca he sido muy fan de tener mi propio jardín y dedicarme a cultivar plantas. No obstante, después de haber vivido varios años fuera de mi país de origen, y de haber tenido la hermosa oportunidad de vivir en un lugar con hermosos jardines, nació en mi la necesidad de tener plantas en mi casa.

Donde vivo actualmente no tenemos un espacio al aire libre donde pueda tener un jardín, sin embargo, me di cuenta de que si podemos tener algunas macetas con plantas pequeñas como los cactus, los cuales son los favoritos de mi hija.
Hoy les muestro algunos de los que tenemos hasta ahora.

I really like ornamental plants, especially floral plants, however, I have never been a big fan of having my own garden and dedicating myself to growing plants. However, after having lived several years outside my country of origin, and having had the beautiful opportunity to live in a place with beautiful gardens, the need to have plants in my house was born in me.

Where I currently live we do not have an outdoor space where I can have a garden, however, I realized that we can have some pots with small plants like cacti, which are my daughter's favorites.
Today I show you some of the ones we have so far.

Mi madre es una señora amante de las plantas de todo tipo, a ella le fascina sembrar y cuidar tanto plantas ornamentales, como plantas de vegetales y frutos. Ya que ella si tiene un espacio para un gran jardín, siempre nos está regalando algunos de sus cactus. Por ahora no hemos tenido el tiempo para trasplantarlos a macetas más grandes, por eso aún se encuentran en estos pequeños envases. Nuestra idea es tener un estante de tres pisos llenos con pequeñas ´plantas de cactus y algunas suculentas.

My mother is a lady who loves plants of all kinds, she is fascinated by planting and caring for both ornamental plants and vegetable and fruit plants. Since she does have space for a large garden, she is always giving us some of her cacti. For now we haven't had the time to transplant them into larger pots, so they are still in these small containers. Our idea is to have a three-story shelf filled with small 'cactus plants' and some succulents.

Ahora que estoy a cargo de estas pequeñas plantas, me he podido dar cuenta de lo bonito que es hacer que una plantita crezca y se mantenga bonita y cuidada. Realmente es una actividad muy bonita e interesante, la cual me encantaría seguir aprendiendo. Espero poder compartir nuestros avances muy pronto. Now that I am in charge of these little plants, I have been able to realize how nice it is to make a little plant grow and stay beautiful and cared for. It really is a very nice and interesting activity, which I would love to continue learning. I hope to be able to share our progress very soon. For now I say goodbye wishing you a very nice afternoon.
