MOCHIMA|| PLAYA PUNTA LA CRUZ [Venezuela]

El fin de semana pasado tuve la oportunidad de viajar al Estado Anzoátegui en compañía de mi familia. En este viaje pude visitar lindas y maravillosas playas.
En esta ocasión te invito a conocer Playa Punta la Cruz, una hermosa playa que forma parte del grupo de playas que conforman el Parque Nacional Mochima.

Punta la Cruz es solo una de las muchas playas que puedes visitar en el Estado Anzoátegui. En esta publicación te cuento cómo puedes llegar allí y qué puedes encontrar en este paradisiaco lugar.

Mochima National Park is located on the Caribbean coast in northern Venezuela, between the states of Sucre and Anzoátegui. "Mochima" is an indigenous word that means "Many waters", a name that fits perfectly to this great natural reserve made up of beaches, islands, gulfs and bays, whose main characteristics are its crystalline waters and the presence of large corals. Punta la Cruz is just one of the many beaches you can visit in Anzoátegui State. In this publication I will tell you how to get there and what you can find in this paradisiacal place.

To get to Playa Punta la Cruz you must travel by boat from the port of Guanta. The price of the ticket per person is $4.00 in the popular boats. There is also the option of traveling in cab boats that offer group rates. The trip takes about 15 minutes approximately, it is a quiet and relaxing trip where you can enjoy a wonderful view. On the way I took the opportunity to take many pictures of the scenery and record some short videos. The truth is that I had my reservations about the boat trip, but everything went much better than expected.

Arriving at the beach, we had the feeling of being on an island, in fact, I thought so until I documented myself to write this post. Thanks to our early arrival, we were able to enjoy a very calm sea and the relaxing sound of the waves, in addition to the incredible landscapes that this place offers us. It was great to explore the place, take lots of pictures and record small videos of the crystal clear waters.

As for the vegetation you can find many palm trees, huge flowering cactus and some shrubs. You can also observe coral remains all over the beach and white stones with various shapes.

Esta playa le ofrece al temporadista aguas tranquilas con una agradable temperatura, un paisaje insuperable, múltiples actividades divertidas que van desde paseo en kayacks transparentes para que puedas ver los corales, paseos en motos de agua y muchos inflables. Para protegernos del sol, alquilamos uno de los cómodos toldos que incluyen sillas playeras y que se encuentran ubicados muy cerca del mar.

This beach offers visitors calm waters with a pleasant temperature, unbeatable scenery, multiple fun activities ranging from transparent kayak rides so you can see the coral reefs, jet ski rides and many inflatables. To protect us from the sun, we rented one of the comfortable awnings that include beach chairs and are located very close to the sea.

Las opciones para comer son muchas, ya que hay varios locales y restaurantes que ofrecen los típicos platos de pescado frito y todos los alimentos marinos que te puedas imaginar. La atención de las personas que trabajan en la playa es, sin lugar a dudas, estupenda. La mayoría son personas muy amables, dispuestos a atender a los turistas de la mejor manera posibles.

The dining options are many, as there are several local restaurants that offer the typical fried fish dishes and all the seafood you can imagine. The attention of the people working on the beach is, without a doubt, great. Most of them are very friendly people, willing to serve tourists in the best possible way.
