MWM|| A NEW BAG MADE WITH GRANNY SQUARES
Greetings my beautiful people of NeedleWorkMonday, I hope you are feeling great. Today I am very happy and excited to share with you this new project that is part of my collection of knitted items related to the spring theme.
El diseño que elegí para estos granny es el de la flor africana de 8 pétalos que les compartí hace unas semanas.
I have already shared with you some key chains, but this time I will share with you one of the wallets that are part of this collection. It is an envelope wallet made with only three granny squares. It is very simple and very quick to knit, plus it looks great.
The design I chose for these granny squares is the African flower with 8 petals that I shared with you a few weeks ago.
Once we have the three grannys ready, the only thing we have to do is to form an envelope by folding the grannys in half and then join them together with the help of a wool needle. The size of the wallet will depend on the size of the grannys. In my case I wanted it to be a not too big wallet; with the ideal size to carry a cell phone and a purse.
The next step after joining the grannies is to knit the border. For this, I knit a round of single crochet and a round of crab stitch to give a relief effect to the border. Finally, the handle is knitted to the desired length and I placed some wooden beads to give a more country touch to the purse.

When I finished knitting I was fascinated with the result, so I decided that this cute little purse would be my birthday present, which will be very soon. Every time I knit a purse I want to keep it, but this time I liked it so much that I didn't hesitate to give it to myself.
