Happy and blessed International Women's Day, dear NeedleWorkMonday women. Receive from me a warm greeting and a fraternal embrace. Today we celebrate the courage of many women who, from the different fields and places where they are, do their best to contribute their grain of sand to make this world a much more beautiful place.
Desde que inicié en Hive he tenido la dicha de conocer mujeres increíbles y talentosas, mujeres con historias de vida y de superación fascinantes que nos dan lecciones invaluables.
Nombrarlas sería muy egoísta de mi parte porque podría cometer el error de dejar alguna fuera de la lista. Por eso prefiero expresar mis respetos admiración a todas ustedes mujeres artesanas que hacen vida en esta comunidad.
Usually my way of commemorating this day is by writing something about women and making a craft. This year I also wanted to celebrate and do something special for my blog and take the opportunity to congratulate my friends and colleagues in the NeedleWorkMonday community.
Since I started at Hive I have had the joy of meeting incredible and talented women, women with fascinating stories of life and overcoming that give us invaluable lessons.
To name them would be very selfish of me because I could make the mistake of leaving any of them out of the list. That is why I prefer to express my respect and admiration to all of you women artisans who make life in this community.
My project for this special day is a beautiful crochet rose in coral color. I chose this color because I think it is perfect to represent the word woman. The design and pattern of this rose is quite simple to make. I haven't crocheted roses in a long time, but every time I make them I choose to follow this pattern because it gives a nice result.
Symbolically I give this rose to each of you, unique and admirable women, receive this little detail as well as my best wishes and blessings to all of you. I take this opportunity to thank you for your constant support and your words of encouragement in each of my publications. Thank you very much women🤗💖

This year I have decided to give, in a physical way, this rose to my dear daughter, who is a beautiful 17 year old young lady. With this rose I want to let her know that I am very proud to see the strong, brave and enterprising woman she is becoming. With this I bid you farewell until a future opportunity.
