MWM|| Bandana Nudo Marinero
Happy and blessed Needlepoint Monday to all of you. I hope you had a great weekend. On my part I was quite busy with some personal situations to resolve. However, I did have some time to knit the project I am presenting to you today. It is a crocheted bandana with a somewhat different design.
I saw this design a few days ago in a tutorial on You Tube and the truth is that I found it very interesting, so I didn't hesitate to knit it. I liked the idea of learning how to make this knot because it looked a little complicated and it was a challenge for me. I must confess that I had to watch the video several times until I got the idea and was able to tie the knot by myself. After several attempts, I finally managed to learn the procedure.
The first thing I did was to knit two strips of 3 cm wide and 65cm long each. To weave them I used a cross stitch in the middle and low stitches on the edge. After I had the two strips I started to weave them together following the instructions in the tutorial to create the sailor knot.
After the knot is ready, the next step is to sew both strips together to form a single knot and finally sew both ends of the bandana closed. The next bandana I make with this design will be with a more striking color so that the knot motif can be better visualized. They can also be made in two different colors and look very pretty.
It was a pleasure to greet you and share a new creative Monday with you. Thanks for reading, greetings and blessings.

Saludos!
Finally I understand how these bandanas are done 😂 I always wondered how they are put together.. It's a great and understandable tutorial! Thank you for sharing! 😊

Saludos
