MWM|| Casual, Simple and Trendy Crochet top

Hello, hello NeedleWorkMonday creative friends, I hope you had a nice day. In today's post I want to share with you a project that I started a few months ago, but had put on hold due to my elbow injury. Thank God I have improved a lot and little by little I have been able to resume some projects, as is the case of this top with long sleeves that I knitted at the request of my daughter.

The pattern of this top is quite simple, it was trending in some social networks, so it caught my attention and my daughter loved it, that's why I decided to knit it. To tell the truth this is the second time I knit a top of this style. The first time I knitted it much shorter and in black. Knitting with black yarn does not fascinate me at all, so the knitting process became very tedious. I don't have any pictures of this top to share, but the result was acceptable, although not excellent.

This time I used 2 mm thick macramé thread, which I do not recommend because the garment was a little stiff. I think it would work much better with cotton yarn or 1mm acrylic yarn. The whole top is knitted in a square knit. The body of the top knits up fairly quickly and smoothly, the most tedious part of the knitting is the sleeves, especially if you have long arms like my beautiful daughter.

This style of tops are very fresh and casual. I'm sure I will knit it again, but this time with a yarn that works better for this type of garment. For now I say goodbye wishing you a great weekend. Thanks for reading, greetings and blessings.
