MWM|| Granny #12 || Un granny de Corazón 💖
Hello, hello dear and much appreciated crafter friends, I hope you are doing very well. Today I am back in the community to share with you a new pattern of the very famous granny squares. This time it is a granny with a heart design.
This is granny number 12 in my collection and it is a design that I really wanted to knit, since whenever I try a new technique, I always start with a heart pattern. However, when it comes to granny I took quite a while to make the heart design, because I couldn't find a pattern that I liked enough, until finally today I decided to try this pattern that I found on the web. I must say that it is not a pattern as such, I simply found a photo alluding to a videotutorial and I took a screenshot and with that image I started to knit it.
I confess that at the beginning I was very stressed because I had to make several color changes in the same lap and I only had the photo of the chart as a reference. However, I concentrated and tried to pull the design through until I got the heart shape all over the center of the granny.
Hacer diseños e ir cambiado colores es muy emocionante, pero amerita de mucha concentración y paciencia. En esta oportunidad tuve que destejer dos veces mi granny para corregir algunos detalles y seguir tejiendo hasta formar el corazón.
While I was trying to make the color changes as neatly as possible, I could remember my beginnings with cross stitch where I had to make figures guided by a chart printed on graph paper.
Making designs and changing colors is very exciting, but it requires a lot of concentration and patience. This time I had to unknit my granny twice to correct some details and continue knitting until I formed the heart.
Ha sido una dicha poder compartir con ustedes este lindo granny de corazón. Les deseo una feliz tarde.
Gracias por leer, saludos y bendiciones 🤗💖.
I am very happy with the end result and very encouraged to keep trying out shapes in addition to the many floral granny squares designs out there. Every time I learn a new pattern I feel like I am taking a Granny Squares diploma course. There are still many more patterns and designs to learn and that is the wonderful thing about crochet that we never stop learning.
It has been a joy to be able to share with you this cute granny from the heart. I wish you a happy afternoon.
Thank you for reading, greetings and blessings
