Saludos a todos mis queridos compañeros artesanos de esta bonita comunidad. Ya estamos finalizando la semana y podemos ver como el tiempo pasa tan rápido, solo quedan dos meses para que termine este año 2023 y eso me ha hecho pensar un poco en todas las metas propuestas al inicio de año. Puedo decir que algunas se han llevado a cabo felizmente, algunas otras han sido sustituidas y han surgido muchas otros objetivos en el camino.

He aprendido que debemos ser flexibles con nuestras metas y que es muy valido cambiar de opinión ya que la vida es un constante cambio y aprendizaje.

Greetings to all my dear fellow artisans of this beautiful community. We are already ending the week and we can see how time passes so fast, there are only two months left for the end of this year 2023 and that has made me think a little about all the goals proposed at the beginning of the year. I can say that some have been happily carried out, some others have been replaced and many other goals have emerged along the way.

I have learned that we must be flexible with our goals and that it is very valid to change our minds as life is constant change and learning.

Dos de los objetivos que surgieron en el camino han sido mi colección de granny squares y mi colección de carteras y accesorios con motivos florales. Estos dos proyectos me tienen muy entusiasmada y me mantienen motivada a seguir tejiendo y aprendiendo nuevas técnicas.

Hoy les comparto un granny con un patrón un poco más complejo en comparación con lo que suelo compartir.
Se trata de un granny con una flor en el centro y con detalles en relieve.

Two of the goals that came up along the way have been my collection of granny squares and my collection of handbags and accessories with floral motifs. These two projects have me very excited and keep me motivated to keep knitting and learning new techniques.

Today I'm sharing a granny with a slightly more complex pattern compared to what I usually share.
This is a granny with a flower in the center and embossed details.

Al principio, entender este patrón supuso un reto para mi. Sin embargo, me fascina descifrar los gráficos de los patrones, es por ello que decidí tejer este lindo cuadrado granny. Lo más importante de este patrón es hacer los puntos en relieve tal como lo indica el patrón, para que se pueda observar lo particular de este diseño.

At first, understanding this pattern was a challenge for me. However, I am fascinated by deciphering the graphics of patterns, which is why I decided to knit this cute granny square. The most important thing about this pattern is to make the raised stitches as indicated in the pattern, so that you can see the particularity of this design.

Este cuadrado está conformado por un total de 7 vueltas, en las que se combinan diferentes puntadas entre las que se encuentran: punto cadena, punto bajo, punto medio alto, puntos altos, puntos en V, puntada abanico. Es un proyecto que amerita de concentración y de prestar mucha atención de seguir el patrón. Las esquinas del cuadrado también se forman de un modo distinto a lo habitual.

This square is made up of a total of 7 rows, in which different stitches are combined, among them: chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet, double crochet, double crochet, V-stitch and fan stitch. It is a project that requires concentration and a lot of attention to follow the pattern. The corners of the square are also formed in a different way than usual.

El resultado final me gustó mucho y fue una bonita experiencia llevar a cabo este patrón. Sin embargo, este no es un granny que recomendaría para proyectos grandes en los que amerite tejer varios cuadrados, debido a la complejidad del patrón.

Por ahora me despido deseando para ustedes un muy bonito y provechoso fin de semana.

I really liked the end result and it was a nice experience to make this pattern. However, this is not a granny that I would recommend for large projects where you need to knit several squares, due to the complexity of the pattern.

Que belleza de granny, al principio se veia tan simple, pero cuando le comenzaste hacer los pétalos todo tuvo sentido,es toda una sorpresa, te felicito por haber logrado tus metas del año, de todos los granny anteriores este es mi favorito, me encanto, los tonos de los hilos,las formas, el efecto del centro de la flor .
Admiro tu pasión y talentos por el crochet, la constancia nos hace llegar a la meta.

Understanding a pattern is often a challenge for needleworkers because once you do not get the foundation of the project, every other thing suffers.

The project ended up looking nice. Well done ma'am.
