MWM|| My WIP for this week
No obstante, desde que comencé a tejer hace ya varios años, aprendí que no siempre debemos esperar el resultado para ser felices, porque la felicidad también se puede encontrar en el proceso.
Esto es precisamente lo que me pasa cuando me decido a hacer proyectos grandes que requieren más horas de trabajo. He aprendido a disfrutar del proceso y a disminuir la ansiedad de ver el proyecto terminado.
"It's never too late when happiness comes" they say. All joy is welcomed no matter how late it arrives, which is in my opinion what this popular saying wants to express to us.
However, since I started knitting several years ago, I learned that we don't always have to wait for the result to be happy, because happiness can also be found in the process.
This is precisely what happens to me when I decide to do large projects that require more hours of work. I have learned to enjoy the process and reduce the anxiety of seeing the finished project.
Yesterday I started a project that I had wanted to do for some time when I was working on my spring purse collection. It is a bag made with grannys in lead gray color and with a daisy motif. For one reason or another this project was postponed, but it has always been on my mind. Yesterday I decided to start with making the granny bags that I will use in this project, there are 8 in total, since it is a small bag.
This granny margarita is part of my collection of grannys, therefore, I have already published the pattern and the step by step for its elaboration. Usually, when I have to make several grannies of the same pattern, I prefer to knit in series. That is to say, first I knit all the centers, then I knit the second round of all the grannies and finally I knit the second round of all the grannies.
Según mi manera de ver las cosas, sí disfruto tejiendo con amor y dedicación cada una de las partes del proyecto, no necesito esperar a ver el resultado final para ser feliz con el tejido, porque lo que me hace feliz es tejer independientemente del resultado.
Knitting grannys relaxes me a lot, it helps me reduce anxiety, because I can enjoy each part of the process without longing to see the final result immediately.
According to the way I see things, I do enjoy knitting each part of the project with love and dedication, I don't need to wait to see the final result to be happy with the knitting, because what makes me happy is knitting regardless of the result.
