Blessed Wednesday have all you creative NeedleWorkMonday friends, it's a pleasure to share with you again one more project from my sewing practices. Every day I try to practice some of the aspects that are more complicated for me to master them until I achieve a better technique, as is the case of the zippers or zippers.

Sewing zippers by machine, from the beginning has seemed to me something very complex and I am always afraid of breaking the needle of the machine. However, I wanted to overcome this aspect with a lot of practice. For this I have decided to make a cosmetic holder much larger than the one I made a few weeks ago. This type of case is also called a cosmetic bag and they are ideal for carrying products for personal use when traveling.

To make this cosmetic bag I was guided by several tutorials that explain very well how to place the zipper in a simple way. The steps to follow are practically the same steps I followed to make the previous cosmetic bag, except for some details that make the process much easier.

I am making all these cases with the same combination of fabrics and colors, since the idea is that all together they form a set of cases that I plan to use to have everything well organized in my luggage when I have to travel. Soon I will be sharing another project that I have in process and that follows this same line.

I must say that this time I found it a little easier to sew the zipper to the fabric pieces, however, there is still a lot of room for improvement in this procedure. Therefore, I give the final result of this project a 7 out of 10. The most important thing is that it is a very functional project and that it is made by my own hands.
