MWM|| UNA NUEVA HAMACA PARA GIORNO 😻

Happy blessed needlepoint Monday creative friends. We are starting a week into this year that is just beginning and it seems to me that time is going pretty fast. That's why I think we should make the most of it and focus on our projects.

Precisely in this publication I share with you my progress in my goal to learn to sew and adapt to the operation of my sewing machine. In order to practice I have decided to make simple projects that are useful for my home and my family. This time it was the turn of our family's most beloved pet, our beloved cat Giorno.

My children and I have long had the idea of making a hammock for Giorno so that he can take his afternoon nap. So I took advantage of the weekend to work on this project and practice with the machine. The design of the hammock was found on Pinterest. The wooden structure was made by my younger brother who loves to work with this material. The fabric part would be my responsibility so I did my best sewing.

Although the design is quite simple, I had some complications when sewing as I am not an expert. We made several modifications until we achieved the best result and finally, we asked Giorno to try his new hammock and pose for pictures. As you can see Giorno was fascinated by this project that we made with a lot of love for him.

I also have on my list of projects to make a new bed, but that will be for a future opportunity. For now I will continue practicing with the machine. Thanks for reading, greetings and blessings.
