MY NEW EDUCATIONAL PROYECT : HAPPY LEARNING KIDS

Bendecido día amigos de Hive, feliz fin de semana para todos. Estoy muy emocionada de compartir con ustedes un nuevo proyecto en el cual he estado trabajando durante algún tiempo. Se trata de un proyecto educativo en el cual me dedico a crear recursos didácticos digitales para la enseñanza del idioma Inglés.

Blessed day Hive friends, happy weekend to all. I am very excited to share with you a new project that I have been working on for some time. It is an educational project in which I am dedicated to create digital didactic resources for English language teaching.


Como ya he mencionado en algunas publicaciones anteriores, soy docente de Lengua extranjera en la mención Inglés. Durante mucho tiempo me he dedicado a la enseñanza del Inglés y el Español como segunda lengua. Aunque he trabajado con estudiantes de diferentes edades, mi debilidad y mi pasión son los niños. Me encanta trabajar con niños porque siempre están dispuestos y abiertos a los nuevos conocimientos. Reciben la información nueva con mucha alegría y disposición y por ello su aprendizaje debe ser mucho más dinámico y divertido.

As I have already mentioned in some previous publications, I am a foreign language teacher of English. I have been teaching English and Spanish as a second language for a long time. Although I have worked with students of different ages, my weakness and passion are children. I love working with children because they are always willing and open to new knowledge. They receive new information with a lot of joy and willingness and therefore their learning should be much more dynamic and fun.


Desde que me dedico a enseñar a niños he procurado hacerlo de la manera más divertida y animada posible, es por ello que siempre estoy en la búsqueda de nuevas actividades que pueda desarrollar con ellos para reforzar los contenidos. Ahora que la mayoría de mis clases son en línea, se me ha hecho mucho más fácil valerme de recursos de la web para complementar mis temas de estudio. Sin embargo, hace unos meses surgió la idea de crear mis propios recursos didácticos y fusionarlos con los recursos que me ofrece la web. De esta idea nace mi nuevo proyecto llamado Happy Learning Kids

Since I have been teaching children I have tried to do it in the most fun and lively way possible, that is why I am always looking for new activities that I can develop with them to reinforce the contents. Now that most of my classes are online, it has become much easier for me to use web resources to complement my study topics. However, a few months ago I came up with the idea of creating my own didactic resources and merging them with the resources offered by the web. From this idea was born my new project called Happy Learning Kids


Happy Learning Kids es un proyecto educativo cuyo objetivo principal es fomentar el aprendizaje del idioma Inglés a temprana edad, ya que es desde la infancia cuando se adquieren las habilidades y destrezas para el lenguaje.

Con este proyecto me propongo crear recursos llamativos, alegres y divertidos que estimulen a los niños a querer aprender un nuevo idioma.
Para crear estos recursos me apoyo en herramientas existentes en la web como Canva.com donde puedo diseñar hojas de vocabulario y personalizar plantillas de juegos didácticos como sopas de letras, memoria, entre otros.

Happy Learning Kids is an educational project whose main objective is to encourage the learning of the English language at an early age, since it is from childhood when language skills and abilities are acquired.

With this project I aim to create fun, bright and cheerful resources that stimulate children to want to learn a new language.
To create these resources I rely on existing web tools such as Canva.com where I can design vocabulary sheets and customize templates for educational games such as word search, memory, among others.


Educaplay es la otra plataforma en la cual me apoyo para crear actividades dinámicas y divertidas. Sobre esta plataforma escribí una publicación hace unas semanas en la cual te cuento sus beneficios. Te voy a dejar el enlace de la publicación por si te interesa conocerla. Gracias a estas plataformas que me permiten personalizar los recursos y adaptarlos a las necesidades de mis estudiantes, he podido mejorar mi desempeño como docente, pero mejor aún, mis estudiantes han avanzado de manera más rápida y efectiva.

Educaplay is the other platform on which I rely to create dynamic and fun activities. I wrote a post about this platform a few weeks ago in which I tell you about its benefits. Thanks to these platforms that allow me to customize the resources and adapt them to the needs of my students, I have been able to improve my performance as a teacher, but better yet, my students have advanced faster and more effectively.

Por otro lado, el otro objetivo de este proyecto es formar un club de estudios en el cual los niños puedan relacionarse con otros estudiantes para compartir sus experiencias. Además de organizar jornadas de juegos en Inglés y competencias sanas, alegres y divertidas. Todo este proyecto lo estoy promoviendo a través de la red social Instagram y hoy lo presento con mucha emoción en mi blog y con mi gran familia de Hive. Pronto estaré compartiendo algunos de los recursos que ya he completado. Gracias por leer, saludos y bendiciones.

On the other hand, the other objective of this project is to form a study club in which children can interact with other students to share their experiences. In addition to organize days of games in English and healthy, cheerful and fun competitions. I am promoting this whole project through the social network Instagram and today I present it with great excitement on my blog and with my great Hive family. Amiga te felicito por tu dedicación y amor por lo que realizas, yo también soy docente pero en el área de matemáticas y al igual que usted siempre estoy en la buscada de estrategia divertidas.
El proyecto que nos presentas es muy prometedor, te deseo mucho éxito.

Muchas gracias amiga, que bueno que estemos en la misma sintonia, las matemáticas tienen fama de ser difíciles pero con buenas estrategias los niños aprenden y olvidan esos mitos.

The younger they are the more easily they seem to pick up a new language. I don't know why many schools in English speaking countries leave it until they are older before teaching a new language.
