Today is a special day, my husband's birthday, normally he doesn't like to have his birthday sung to him or have anything done to him; I still make his cake and even if he doesn't want to celebrate his day, I do it for him.
I made him his favorite cake besides that the meringue that fascinates him, the Italian meringue is easy and delicious with few ingredients, then I will show you how to prepare it.
- 4 claras de huevos
- 1 1/2 de azúcar
- 80 mililitro de agua
- 4 egg whites
- 1 1/2 sugar
- 80 milliliters of water
First place the water and sugar in a saucepan, over low heat .
While the sugar is cooking with the water. We are going to beat the 4 egg whites.
We see how the sugar is doing, if it starts to boil we turn it off.
We wait until the egg whites are stiff.
Once the sugar is a little cold, we are going to add it as a thread little by little; until we get a stable consistency. It should be firm and shiny.
It's ready! To enjoy I put it on the cake, but let me tell you that eating it with strawberry is a delight. As if it were strawberry and cream, it's super delicious.
