Hello All Insect Lovers And My Hivean Friends!

A type of insect known as the grasshopper is the most common pest in the field of green crops. This insect can be seen jumping around especially in paddy fields in our area. They sit on the leaves of the dam plant and are green in color, much like the leaves of the paddy plant. Because it jumps like this it is known as horse in our region. This pest is most common in rural areas.

Also this type of insect can be seen in other crop fields or green grass. Many of these insects are also found where I live now. There is a playground in front of the hostel I am staying in and there is a lot of grass which results in a lot of grasshoppers. But some of these grasshoppers are sometimes seen sitting on the wall or floor in our hostel. Perhaps they come after seeing the electric light. I found this insect on the floor of our hostel.

Since my hostel is located in a hilly area, I often see different types of insects here. Many types of insects can be seen including different types of moths, butterflies or grasshoppers or dragon flies. Many insects especially of hilly regions can be seen here.
