MY WEEKEND ACTIVITIES // LIFE OF A FEATHERED FRIENDS FARMER

Hello hivers,

I hope you're all having a great weekend and catching some fun. Like every weekend, I will say it is usually the same way for me because every Saturday I must go to field in the morning to play football. Football is a game that I have a great passion for and it is a means that I used to burn out some calories.

After I returned from the field,the first I do is to attend to my birds. I have a local birds and a new broilers that am rearing.

I attend to the local birds first. Before this time, I used to feed the local birds with Ultima starter feed which is meant for the broilers but I did that to make them grow fastly and which indeed payoff. But now I will be feeding them with grains because of the cost of the price increase of Ultima broilers

I opened the cage for them to come out

I give all the ten local birds the grain and they are eating and also look healthy.

And now my attention is now on my new broilers. They are a 9days old today and they have taken their first vaccine of lasota. Thanks to @peterale who help me in administering the vaccine for my broilers.

There feed is about to finish so as my normal daily routine. I have to give them feed in the morning. Normally I always fed them both morning night to aids their growth.

Instantly I put their feed down they all surround it and started to pick it up.

As this is my first time of rearing broilers birds,I am happy that they are all in good condition and they are also growing fast. They are twelve in number and I am happy that I haven't recorded any death among the birds.

Their is still some water in their drinkers so I dont have to change their water since the water is still fresh.
