This topic will really have a lot to teach depending on different people's opinions.
It is really a wonderful one and i can't wait to read other people's opinions.
Social media is a versatile platform that involves many things, many activities go on in different platforms in social media, where many post different kinds of things. Meanwhile the truth of the matter is that many people post things most especially on WhatsApp hidden their families, formators ( like school formators) from seeing it , in this manner they maintain their privacy from different people which includes their families.
Social media is vast meanwhile it contains both the good and bad .
In these current days of ours the kind of gen-z children we have, many of them don't even mind the kind of things they post while many others consider it .
In life now everyone has the right to anything he feels like in as much as he will take full responsibility for the outcome , these days responsibility is what matters a lot. Once you can take the responsibility of your actions good .
Social media is more of a personal thing which involves a lot of privacy intruding inside it is like piping someone who is trying to cover himself from exposure.
School intruding in students and staff social media life is a defamation of privacy, it is really against personal law it doesn't make any sense because that is a private life and nothing concerns the school and the media life of its workers and students.
Meanwhile if school should intrude into that it will hinder students and teachers from enjoying the free life fun on social media life because they will be very sensitive in what they chat and post in order not to offend school or its management . So being sensitive in what you post and not having the freedom to do what you want will really make the social media a boring place for people to be , so it is better that schools still mind their business and allow students and lecturers to do their things.
The only thing that will be okay for school to do is giving a specific age that can be allowed to use phone and social media i think that will curb some indiscipline that the social media and media house is facing today.
Because social media has faced so many things and it has led some individuals into immoral things and too much exposure to things that are not supposed to. Like i said before social media discipline is one of the major remedies to solve these problems.
SOCIAL MEDIA IS NEVER BAD BUT DISCIPLING OURSELVES, STUDENTS AND TEACHERS ON THE USE OF IT WILL BE OF GOOD.

I really enjoyed reading your post because it's a topic that affects almost everyone today. I agree that social media is a personal space and everyone deserves a certain level of privacy. I also think we should never forget that whatever we share online can have real-life consequences. Freedom is important but using that freedom wisely is even more important. And schools shouldn't unnecessarily interfere in people's private lives but they can still play a role by educating students about responsible online behavior. Also I believe the best solution isn't strict control but self-discipline and good judgment. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and giving us something meaningful to think about.

They are still teenagers and their thoughts are still focused on lust and they don't use their right brain much. What will happen in the future if Generation Z is not supervised? So I really agree that there are discussions like this that can broaden our horizons, and we have to save them.
Social media can affect you in town ways as an individual, either positively or negatively. Sometimes it just depends on how you use it.
