If Wishes Were Horses, Beggars Would....

This week's prompt is quite interesting and alluring. Owing to that intensity, I've noticed an influx of responses to the prompt. That is a wonderful thing if you ask me. It has prompted me to drop my entry at the eleventh hour.

What would I do;

If I had more than 24 hours in a day?

Ha! I would travel to the moon and back. Honestly, though, I'm dying for more time to write. If I had more than twenty-four hours a day, there is so much that I would accomplish. This is not to even sound cliche and all but it's the truth. My life right now is a cocktail of bursts of excitement, tear drops, pressure, anxiety and a mix of emotions-quite the recipe that screams, “I need more time. Between work, tending to family, ticking groceries list, and nurturing a little human all by myself, twenty-four hours most times isn't enough for me.

I spread thin by cooking with one hand, holding my child with the other, blogging with one foot, and doing self-care with the other. My comical reality. If I had extra five hours, I would dedicate all of that to my little human. My other daily activities can take twenty-four hours and I would not have a single need in the world for extra time again.

What's that you said? Oh! I know, he's adorable like that. You can stop drooling and lick your screen now. Hehe!

If I had a money tree growing in my backyard?

This is surreal and euphoric at the same time. If I, by some miracle have a tree that grows money, the first thing I'm going to think about is posterity. I'm going to think about how I'll be able to preserve that tree to sustain my generation, then extend it to others many years into the future. I will harvest the seeds and plant some more trees in strategic locations. After that, I'm going to have generational custodians for each tree. It's going to be a secret. And like an enigma, no one would find out only the successors of the custodians. That money would be used to change the world. The poor and needy would never have to suffer again. People would never die of sickness and starvation. We would build a sustainable life till eternity.

Oh my gosh! I'm starting to sound like I'm writing one of my fiction. Hehe.

If I had an uninterrupted power supply in my city?

I already have uninterrupted power supply. As long as I work hard to pay my bills, I'm good. When I had epileptic power supply, I would always wish I didn't have a time frame to charge my phone and devices, iron my clothes, use the oven or even watch tv. Now I get to do all those things at will and it is such a bliss. The absence of electricity is capable of messing with your entire plan and rendering it useless.

If we had more than 24 hours in a day it'll definitely be amazing.

The money tree, hmm. I have so many Questions, lol. What currency, how long does it take to grow, just so many questions, lol.

The constant electricity part, I'm also having a taste of it as well. For a while now, though they take the electricity at times, there's some days when we have it constant.

Ps :your baby is cute.

Haha. Well, the way it seems crazy to have a money tree is the same way the seeds will materialize. Crazy!!

Electricity is like oxygen I tell you.

I know right, he's adorable.

Thank you.
