My Peece!

I know the feeling of despair that comes with having a dream so real that your soul is shaken to the core. I know the deep breath of relief that comes with waking up and realizing, ‘oh it was all a dream’.

Then the moment when you sit and ponder hits. You ask yourself. What if that happened? How dreadful it would be. How heartbreaking and wrenching you'd feel. How broken and sunken your soul would be rendered.

The only consolation you make up is that ‘it was just a dream’. But dreams, just like fiction are a figment of our imaginations and may not be far from reality. Someone once said that life is more mysterious than fiction. I believe so.

If something as dreadful as that happened to me in real life, and I got my family back, it would be time for a rebirth. The heavens have given us a glimpse of what havoc feels like and a second chance to get it right.

Seeing my family waiting right there, arms extended in an embrace would feel like my life has been handed back to me. I would embrace them whole with their perfections and imperfections. Life is too short to hold any reservations or grudges.

I would strip my soul of all the things holding me back from living this thing called life to the fullest. This mini exercise has shown me that all those things that tend to hold us are only a mirage. One created inside of our minds. I would close my eyes and let them seep away from my body. It would feel like the weight of the world left me.

I have a voice. It may be tiny or shrill right now but I am going to use it to speak to the world until is fine, loud, and heard. First with my family. They are going to be my stepping stone and bedrock. Then my community, my country, and the world. I am not going to be afraid of not being heard. I am not going to be scared of my voice drowning. I would give what I have one at a time until the last person hears me. It may be tough, sour and difficult but this is a chance. A slate to make it right.

But then, why not now? Why do I have to wait for a rude awakening to do what I am put on this earth for? Now is the time to tell them how much I love them. To give from my heart. To render help to friends, neighbors, and communities, to lend my voice where it matters, to love myself more, breathe and explore. This is the time more than ever to work with like minds and create a force so strong. One united by love and a common goal. The time is now.

I have a voice

This thing is disturbing me each day, this self actualization is somehow frustrating as you can't face the rejection of not being heard. Recently I have been raising my voice on serious issues happening in my country and I faced a lot of criticism. Now I am on the stage where I can't be silent (self-death) neither I can be heard (guilty of speaking ) . your words are motivating as someone else is also thinking like me. Lots of Love 💙 Nice to see this in dreemport .

Thank you so much. Often times we feel like we aren’t heard out like our words aren’t loud enough. In reality, there’s always someone in that little corner whom we are giving hope to. I am so happy this post became a source of encouragement for you. Don’t stop what you are doing out there. We see you.
