My favorite time to be alive is right here and right now. Life is a funny bubble that goes round and round - people experiencing the same things at different times in their lives. Happiness pain, fulfillment, accomplishments and all there is.

Despite that life has lifted me up in the air, ruffled my feathers and even pluck some out, I still managed to fly to my destination. This is to say that I love my life right now and where I am at. Am I where I want to be? No! But I love the process. The evolution.

So if I could take my life and put everything in it in a bag, through some sort of time travel machine, I would go way back. I mean, I don't want to be catapulted into the stone age but a time away from all the suffocating technology.

Don't get me wrong, technology has been good to us. We couldn't have created and been a part of this amazing community, to begin with, if not for technology. I love being a part of the virtual world.

However, I miss those amazing times we had when we weren't dependent on technology. I miss seeing and appreciating people for who they are and not through the lens of social media.

I loved that you could give a simple compliment and not have to think a million times about how it would be interpreted. I want to go back to the time when hanging out meant sleepovers, playing board games, and going together for a stroll, and ice cream. When capturing the moment wasn't with an iPhone but as memories imprinted in our hearts. The images weren't updated as statuses, instead, they were shared when caught up again to relive those moments.

I feel nostalgic already just thinking about the time I missed and want to go back to. I want to experience sending letters and postcards again and waiting on the telephone to ring. I could definitely use a little less technology and more presence in the real word.

I can see clearly why you would like to go back in time ans appreciate life without too much technology but I like life this way and believe me, we haven't seen all the technology there is to come.

I'm not too much of a tech person, but I love the little I know.

Thanks for the invite, I'll do well to join in the fun contest. 😉

Oh, there's definitely more to come. I can see it. I can also envision what it would look like. Maybe if we can have both worlds, a lot of us would appreciate it.

Thanks for reading. I wish you an awesome entry.

sometimes you can have
a little break from technology but life is easier with it and you have to live in the present. Thanks for sharing 😊

Now that I think about it, a mixture of both worlds would be quite the recipe for me for a happier life. Thanks for reading.

To bring back a bit of nostalgia for me, I recently purchased and use a couple of fountain pens. If you ever get to view letters from the early 1900's or even the 1800's, the writing was beautiful and nobody took calligraphy lessons either!

So I say to you; write letters to friends and family! Sure, you won't get an instant answer like a text does, but so much thought and personalization goes into writing letters. I would seriously appreciate the effort if I were the recipient of a handwritten letter.

If you do, let us know how it turns out. Thanks for sharing and have a lovely day!

The idea of writing a letter again sounds very exciting to me. I'd be trying that to see the reception I would get. I won't get my hopes too high though.

Thanks for reading.

You bet! I think it would be very cool to do! If you can't find someone to write to, contact me on discord. I'd be happy to do that with you. Take care!💜🤗

When capturing the moment wasn't with an iPhone but as memories imprinted in our hearts.

This truly got me. But perhaps we can do something about it through our own little ways. We can have these moments with the people close to us, in our homes. Although it can be really challenging to make it happen. There are families who make certain rules in their houses, like no phone when eating, etc.

You are right. In the end, everything is what we make of it. We can enforce some of our personal rules and make things happen just the way we like it. We don't always have to go with the world.

Thank you so much for reading.

Yes, we can make adjustments in our own little world and enjoy the very best life with our families :) Thank you and you are very welcome. Pleasure is mine :)
