Su, Sky Fairy!

“Hi Su! What mischief are up to today? Would you like to join me cloud shaping?” Lilly popped her head out from the heap of clouds she was making into beautiful forms.

“Nah. That's no fun. Wait, is that a sleeping cat you made? Stop messing with the humans. They are going to think it's a tiger in the sky. Well, I've got some work to do down there. Mother fairy sent me to grant a 12year old's wish. Some lonely girl named Lilo”. Su put her hands in akimbo with pride as though she had been given a task to save the world.

She hovered around lilly irritating her with fluttering wings. Su was beautiful with long dark hair, brown eyes and skin. Her skin glowed like bronze and her aura was the purest.She had the most colorful wings in Fairyland. Su always carried herself with no care in the world. A little too carefree, she made a mess of all the tasks given to her.

“Huh! You are going down there again? Try not to make a mess this time. The last time, you gave that naughty little kid a tail. Remember what mother fairy said - This is your last chance to get it right or you'd be cast down there to live with the humans forever. We grant wishes to make little children happy and not the opposite”.

“That's not happening” Su whispered as she stamped her left foot in the air and spiraled down the clouds.

“Ah. I am coming with you, wait up”. Lilly abandoned the clouds and followed Su down the clouds. They both looked like a cute display of fireworks descending the sky.

Lilly and Su hovered beside Lilo’s opened window. She appeared to be fast asleep. All she wanted was the music box her grandmother gifted her to sing again. It would not sing no matter how many trips she made to the repair shop. It was the only thing that made her truly happy ever since her grandmother passed.

Su held her fairy wand and whispered, “with thee I compel you to come alive”. Su failed to target the music box that was sitting pretty across Lilo’s dresser. Instead, the little ball of glow that emanated from her wand bounced off the edge of the dresser and landed straight into Lilo’s box of dolls.

“What have you done? Look! All of her dolls have come to life”. Lilly screamed holding her cheeks while Su put her hand across her mouth to muffle the sound.

“Oh oh! This isn't pretty”. Su widened her eyes staring at mayhem she had created. There were now at least twenty dolls up and about Lilo's bedroom. Some were on her bed, dresser and just about everywhere.

“I’m her favorite not you”
“She never picks you up”
“Look! even the dusty old doll thinks she's good enough“

The commotion was about to rouse Lilo from sleep when the mother fairy appeared.

“Oops. Someone is getting a new home down here” Lilly muttered still amazed.
