Happy Thursday Hivers!

Heart beats fast; knees were trembling; and palms started to get wet, that's how I exactly feel as I started to hit the stairs going to the unfamiliar place.

My friend told me that there's a beautiful restaurant with a scenic view in the mountainous part of San Jose, Negros Oriental but she wasn't sure if the restaurant is still operating.

Since we both free yesterday after a week of not seeing each other, we agreed to check the restaurant she kept telling me.

The surrounding was so quite showing that the establishment is still closed. But out of curiosity, we still wanted to get inside and see how the place looks like.

We both shouted "AYO" (it means, "hello, is anyone there) many times but no one answered us. As we checked the native gate made of bamboo, it was not locked, my friend turned her head to my direction and told me we can get inside.

At first, I was reluctant because I have many negative thoughts in mind, like what if there's a big dog inside and would quickly attact us; or an aggressive owner who just waiting us inside and would hit us sharp objects.

But I quickly followed my friend after I took a glimpse to the stunning lush forest that lies in front of the restaurant. I was truly tempted.

As I already descended the stairs, I saw dried leaves scattered everywhere. It just only shows that no one maintains the area.

A few minutes later, I was engulfed with so much astonishment as I've found my friend slowly walking inside the restaurant and checking the entirety. I was completely wondered why the gate and the door are left open. What's the purpose of the owner?

Although, I was skeptical to follow her but this curiosity pushed me to get inside. The dying plant welcomed me as I was on the doorstep. What I had in mind that time was that maybe it's just only few days have passed since the owner left this beautiful area because the plant was not totally died yet.

The tables and chairs made up of wood and rattan were properly arranged.

Although there were stuffs scattered everywhere but the entirety was not completely cladded with dust yet.

The cobwebs were already formed to any part of this room. Have you seen it?

20220720_150532.jpg

I know you can't clearly see the cobwebs on the photo but when you're personally here you can really see cobwebs that started to scatter everywhere.

As I looked behind me, the colorful flower painted on the wall caught my attention. It was perfectly painted with beautiful color combination.

The stuffs inside didn't able to escape my attention. The area behind that wall glass is obviously a kitchen area where the kitchen stuffs were also properly arranged.

The picturesque view of the lush forest invited me to get outside.

I was in awe as I stood on this area facing the stunning beauty of the mountains and the sea.

After watching that scenic view, I slowly walked going outside.

Another thing that caught my attention was the door downstairs. I went down and checked the area.

A spacious area greeted me as I checked it, for sure that certain area offers a beautiful view same as what I have seen upstairs. I was not able to get inside because it was locked.

After I checked the area, I went upstairs and asked my friend to leave the place before someone finds us inside the closed establishment.

You know what, I was not able to calm down myself when I was inside, although we didn't touch anything except the door but I was still scared that someone might caught us.

I am hoping that after this pandemic this restaurant will be able to open again.

Thank you for reading and see you on my next blog. Cheers!
