Our Bell Pepper Plants Are Finally Producing Fruit!

Do you remember that I posted about our second batch of bell peppers about 10 days ago? At that time, the plants had already started producing tiny fruits, but they were still too small to be clearly noticeable.

This morning, I took some photos of our bell pepper plants, and I was so happy to see that they are now producing healthy-looking fruits.

When I saw how much they had grown compared to the past few days, I honestly felt so happy and excited. Our first batch of bell peppers didn’t grow this big, the fruits were quite small. But this second batch is turning out to be amazing! The fruits are already getting noticeably bigger, and seeing that progress makes all the effort feel so rewarding.

Since last week, we’ve been getting a lot of rain here, and I think that’s one of the reasons why the plants have been growing so quickly. Every day, you can see a noticeable difference in their size. It’s honestly surprising how fast they are growing.

Just imagine, 10 days ago, I posted photos of these plants when they were still small, with some of them only starting to develop tiny fruits. And now, look at them! Their fruits have already grown this big.

I’m honestly so happy every time I check on them because each day seems to bring another surprise. Our first batch of bell peppers didn’t produce fruits this big, so seeing how well this second batch is doing is really exciting for us.

It’s amazing how something can change so much in just a few days. Watching the fruits grow bigger little by little makes all the waiting and taking care of the plants so rewarding. I’m really looking forward to seeing how much bigger and healthier they will become in the coming days!

Of course, not every plant survives. We also lost one of our bell pepper plants because it was affected by a disease. It’s such a shame because it was already growing big and was supposed to produce some nice fruits. We noticed tiny white spots near the very bottom of the stem, and that seemed to be where the problem started. Eventually, the plant weakened and died.

It was really disappointing to lose a plant that had already come so far, but I guess this is also a normal part of gardening. Not every plant will survive, and there will always be challenges along the way. What matters is that we learn from every experience and continue taking care of the plants that are still growing.

For now, we’re just grateful and happy to see our other bell peppers thriving. Every new leaf, flower, and growing fruit feels like a small reward for all the time and effort we’ve put into them. Hopefully, they continue to grow healthy and give us a good harvest soon!
