Hi everyone, well, just looking at the title, it's not exactly great, but I want to tell you how this has changed a lot of plans for Venezuelans. Stick around and I'll tell you more.
My heart is at a loss for words regarding what happened in the country: two earthquakes in a row on June 24 at 6 p.m.—one measuring 7.1 and the other 7.5. Here in my city, the tremor was mild at the time; my dad told us, “It’s shaking,” but it wasn’t that shocking to us. however, the internet went out half an hour later, and I saw a video of buildings collapsing in the country’s capital—that’s when I realized this wasn’t just another earthquake. The situation is now extremely serious. Many hours have passed since that day, and there are many deaths. The exact figures aren’t clear—the government says there are 1,400, but given the magnitude of the disaster, I believe the number is much higher. Many countries have sent humanitarian aid. I never thought it would be under these circumstances, but we’re grateful, our brothers and sisters from El Salvador, the United States, Mexico, Qatar, Germany, Spain, Syria, Ecuador, Colombia, and other countries. I never thought so many planes would come. Other countries are taking more action than the government itself—including many Venezuelan brothers and sisters.
This is an unbelievable situation, so we went out to buy food to stock up. I had some diapers set aside because I planned to donate them to the most needy children in hospitals; however, the time has come to donate them, so I’ll have to start collecting again. I’d like to raise a large amount of money to carry out that project later. Many states joined forces to send truckloads of food, but the area—specifically La Guaira, Caracas, Venezuela—is completely overwhelmed. We’re truly not alone, but this has been a second blow to this state, since the first disaster in 1999 swept everything away in its path. Let’s hope we can get through this situation. Hola a todos, bueno ya con ver el titulo no es muy bueno que digamos quiero contarte lo que esto cambio muchos planes a los venezolanos, quédate y te cuento más.
Mi corazón no tiene palabras para lo que paso en el país, dos terremotos seguidos en día 24 de junio a las 6 pm uno de 7.1 y otro de 7.5 aquí en mi ciudad fue leve en ese momento mi papa nos dice está temblando pero no fue tan impactante para nosotros, sin embargo se fue el internet media hora después veo video que se caen edificios en la capital del país allí fue cuando supe que no fue un sismo más, la situación ya es de gran gravedad han pasado muchas horas desde ese día y hay muchos muertos las cifras como tal no son tan claras que el gobierno dice que son 1400 pero para la magnitud yo digo que más muchos países han mandado ayuda humanitaria nunca pensé que fuera en estas circunstancias sin embargo agradecidos, los hermanos de el Salvador, Estados unidos, México, Qatar, Alemania, España, Siria, Ecuador, Colombia entre otros países nunca pensé que vendrían tantos aviones, otros países se están moviendo más que el mismo gobierno incluso muchos hermanos venezolanos.
Esto es una situación increíble, por lo que fuimos a comprar comida para tener guardada, yo tenía unos pañales guardados ya que tenía destinado donarlo a los niños más necesitados en los hospitales sin embargo, llego el momento de donar eso, ya tocara volver a recolectar me gustaría reunir una gran cantidad de dinero para hacer esa obra luego, muchos estados se unieron para llevar camiones y camiones de comida pero está colapsado ese sitio para llegar específicamente en la Guaira Caracas Venezuela, de verdad que no estamos solos pero esto ha sido un segundo golpe para este estado ya que en el año 1999 hubo el primer desastre se llevó todo a su paso, esperemos superar esta situación, espero les haya gustado mi relato.
